The sailing was FABULOUS, AMAZING, SPECTACULAR and PERFECT in every way! Honestly, I can't find a single thing worth complaining about.

Enjoyed every moment of our lido cabana (kudos to Faustino and Tommy for their amazing service, always with a big smile) and every meal on board. We ate at both the Pinnacle Grill and Tamarind for dinner and all I can say is WOW! MDR food also exceeded expectations. Took the kids to the Cupcake Tea and Indonesian Tea ~ both were very special.

Ports of call were beautiful and especially enjoyed HMC as we got to spend the day at the Private Oasis with our new found friends. Quite a treat!

The kids (ages 10 & 12) loved all of the shows; I only attended the Magic Show which was fantastic. Spent some time at the casino as well as the spa which was very relaxing and both technicians were extremely good and professional. Neither tried to sell me any products.

We were in VD4163 ~ a bit too cramped for 4 ~ but that was my fault. In the future, it's 2 cabins for us. Sadly, we hardly used the balcony as we were out and about all the time, especially since we had the cabana. I am missing the champagne and chocolate covered strawberries right about now! Also, we made good use of the Unlimited Laundry package for $49.

The Eurodam did not dissappoint. The food, service, amenities and ambience were first class!

Happy to answer any and all questions.

Glad you had a great time! We leave in 13 days and know we'll have a great time as well. Can you tell me what you ordered at Pinnacle Grill and Tamirand? Thanks,Larry

At Pinnacle, I started with the crab cakes (yummy) and DH had the onion soup (ok). For dinner, I had the lobster tail (with pesto sauce) with creamed spinach and baked potato and hubby had the veal chop with Diane sauce. We also sampled the lobster Mac & Cheese. All the dishes were outstanding. For dessert, we shared the Baked Alaska and loved it. We brought our own bottle of champagne and were told about the $18 corkage fee. In the end, they never added it to the bill.

I'm sure you will have a great time! She is a beautiful ship with an amazing, dedicated crew.

I am in serious withdrawal. Joanie - I didn't take many pictures this trip. For some reason, the camera was always at the bottom of the bag or elsewhere when I needed it.

The teas were held at 3pm in the Rembrandt Dining Room and were really nice. at the Cupcake Tea we were served mini cupcakes, scones with clotted cream and jams, tea sandwiches and pastries alongside an extensive selection of teas. I didn't eat much as I had already had lunch. I skipped lunch the day of thee Indonesian Tea and really enjoyed myself! The menu was much the same except they served Indonesian sweets instead of cupcakes and there was also an Indonesian tea menu. It was great and the type of treat that I think distinguishes HAL from the other lines.

I did not go to the Mariner lunch upon embarkation this time but did so in August while on the Veendam. I think it's a much nicer option then the Lido. We ate lunch in the cabana this time around.

The kids skipped Club HAL this cruise as we traveled with 2 other families and their kids so they kept very busy together.

LOL, I understand about the camera. Had similar experience(s) last cruise, that and I would talk so much that I forgot to take some photos....

The Teas sound wonderful and I think I am going to make a VERY concerted effort to go to them both!!

I was very pleased with the Embarkation Lunch on Nieuw Amsterdam and am going to be doing it again on Oosterdam in 31 days:)
