Gold SeaPass Cards

Recommended Posts

This is likley a stupid question that's been asked before, but here we go anyway...

I've seen picture of gold SeaPasses-Who gets them and why. Also what benefits do they get you apart from reconigtion.

I can only assume it's part of the C&A??

Suite passengers. You do not have to be a C&A member.

Edited to add that with the gold card, you have access to the CL and reserved seating in various areas of the ship. Suite passengers also have a long list of extras for being in a suite.

Not related to C&A, it's related to the stateroom booked. If you book a Grand Suite or above, your SeaPass is Gold. Junior Suites get a Silver card.

This helps differentiate access to the Concierge Lounge, reserved theater seating, reserved pool seating, etc.

What is the point of a silver sea pass card? I don't think a jr suite gets anything.. Other then a coffee maker? and double points :)

I don't think the actual silver card gets admission to anything. I think it's just a recognition thing.

JS pax get priority boarding also.

And double points are nice especially if you do longer cruises.

I thought that you also got gold cards when you were a diamond plus member... I don't remember where I heard that though, so I might be making it up.

The only way a Diamond plus member can get a gold sea pass card it to book a suite. :)

lol...last cruise we were in the RFS and had the gold cards. My son was in the elevator and someone asked him about his "gold card" and what it meant....he was like, "I don't know"....he then asked me and I did not realize there was a difference...just thought that was the color card they used for everyone...:p

This is funny. We sat at the casino bar and the couple (Canadian Military) next to us noticed we had a Gold Card and inquired about it. After explaining that we had a Grand Suite (and Diamond members at the time), they went to Bingo and won an upgrade to a Grand Suite, too! We laughed about that couples good luck all cruise long. The man won the International Belly Flop, as well ! They shared the cabin next to us for the rest of the cruise - more power to them!!!

Since this thread was started, Pinnacle level C&A members now get gold Seapass cards along with all the attendant benefits.
Oh, goody - I only have to have 547 more nights on RCI and I'll be Pinnacle and get my Gold Card:D

I should become D+ in December, and I'll be quite happy to make that milestone:). Not sure if Pinnacle will occur in this lifetime:rolleyes:

When the RCCL Staff see these colors, they make sure that they give excellent treatment to the holders. Kind of like wearing the diamond, diamond plus & pinnicle pins.

I don't wear my C&A pin or generally show my seapass card and get wonderful service from staff. I hope staff do not treat gold vs. not gold seapass cardholders or new cruiser vs D+ differently.

Dependent on the ship you are on, you will find that Gold Sea Pass card holders do get preferential treatment.

Good morning everyone.

I just want to ask if anyone knows or cant tell me where on the official website of RCCL I find a link where I can read all the explanations for the color and benefits of seapass... I do not know if there exist but some users in a forum where I live, they ask me and I don't found anything on the Italian site.... And I think is better if we search on Rccl.com site.

And I wonder if to you it appears that the gold-colored seapass receives even those who embarks on ports other than the one where the cruise ends?

Thanks a lot to all for your help.

Oh I didn't realise that they were for suite guests. I was in an OS last year on the Naviagtor and just got a normal SeaPass. Maybe they'd run out :D

If you were in an OS you absolutely should have received the gold card - I doubt they would have run out. That was a shame.

Try this site:

It explains the different perks for different levels of C&A. Is this what you were looking for?
