thelion Posted July 13, 2011 #26 Share Posted July 13, 2011 If you book with a travel agent, and they do not pay your final payment by the end of the day on the due date, a fax goes out to them giving them 5 days grace to make the payment. However, sometimes, RCCL does not make this exception. The same is true if you book on your own. In some cases, they give a few days' grace but sometimes they don't. Technically, if they give you the grace period and you still don't pay it and they cancel it, your deposit is in penalty. If it cancels before the grace period, your deposit should be refunded since penalty starts the day after your payment is due.
the mistral wind Posted May 20, 2017 #27 Share Posted May 20, 2017 My agent asked me if i wanted her to automatically charge my card when it's due. So i don't have to worry about it. I said yes but i may call and have it paid earlier. That's convenient. No worries

JAMESCC Posted May 21, 2017 #36 Share Posted May 21, 2017 Actually I'm glad I just saw this thread. We just made a 700 dollar payment yesterday and our final payment in June 20th next month. We have paid 1,400 bucks of the cruise. We are planning to make final payment but, just, just in case what happens to the 1,400 bucks we have already paid if we don't? Thanks for any help. Oh we booked through a TA so it may be different. Sent from my Pixel using Forums mobile app
