yes quite, the salvage in itself is grim and hugely difficult and with that prospect even more so...

 

as the wreck is so precarious the efforts for the past 2 weeks of the divers and their teams have been amazing...but of course not be able to retrieve all those lost

is dire beyond words for the relatives.

I feel so sad for those families that still don't know what happened to their loved ones. But it is understandable that the authorities don't want to endanger more lives.

Thanks to those heroes who have been able to bring at least some of these families an opportunity say goodbye to their loved ones. Peace to those who have not been able to be found, and to their families.

Breaks my heart for all of the missing but as a mother I can't imagine knowing my 5 year was out there somewhere and then being told that they won't be looking for her anymore. That has to be so hard! :(

It's such a horrible way for a life to end, lost in the sea. For myself I feel closure would be difficult without being able to bury my relatives. I especially feel for the mother of the five yr old. While she may feel badly that her ex died, losing a child must be like having a part of you die.

I know they have mentioned several times that they never found the 5 year old, but they don't mention the father anymore. Did they say they found him?

I think there was also mention of one of the entertainers who gave up his seat on a boat to a child and ended up among the missing. Was he eventually located?
