Alaska Newbie Posted February 16, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2012 Just wondering if hot chocolate is served on LOS and if there is a cost or if it is served a mealtime. Thanks for your responses.

Alaska Newbie Posted February 16, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted February 16, 2012 Thank you for the info. Daughter will be real happy about that. She likes hot chocolate for breakfast. We are going on LOS 5 night cruise in 11 days.
cruisegirl1 Posted February 16, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 16, 2012 Also - no problem to get some (no charge) in the dining room. Simply ask your server. M

Tucker in Texas Posted February 16, 2012 #7 Share Posted February 16, 2012 Every ship I've been on have the hot chocolate packets available in the Windjammer...no charge... Every ship we have been on has had packets of hot chocolate for free EXCEPT Princess doing the Alaskan itinerary. On the day we cruised Tracy Arms fjord, they SOLD it. Never saw any at any other time free or otherwise. That is our only Princess cruise so I don't know if this is fleet wide or just "gottcha." I had gotten word about it so I took a box of Swiss Miss with me. One morning I was mixing up a packet in the Lido when a lady came up and asked me where I found the mix. Told her I bought it from home. She asked if I would sell her some. I had extra so I gave her a packet. I had a newbestfriend (lol). Virtopia Posted February 17, 2012 #11 Share Posted February 17, 2012 I ordered room service about 3 times on my last cruise and had hot chocolate with each order! It was very good, I believe it was the dark chocolate mix as well.
wantocruisemore Posted February 17, 2012 #12 Share Posted February 17, 2012 Last summer on NOS in Med DD would get an early morning room service wake-up of hot chocolate and fruit. The packet was Nestle mild chocolate. She really enjoyed it on the balcony. I think she also got it in the MDR a coupld of times as well, breakfast and other meals.
