Donna I have just got off Mariner and the cruise director is Steve Davies , thought you might like to know so you can update ,he has an international host working with him but I didn't catch his name , it isn't Mercedes Fuentes though ,that I know for sure .

Allure OTS - Allan Brooks starts Sept 2 until Nov 4. Ken Rush expects to return after his break on Nov 4. Jimmy Rhodes expects to join the ship as CD sometime in February.

 

Brilliance OTS - Anna Bass started July 27 (until when?)

 

Enchantment OTS - John Blair started on July 12. (until when?)

 

Explorer OTS - = Richard Spacey started July 19 until November 24.

 

Freedom OTS - Drew Devine started July 29th. Graham Seymour is returning September 30 through February 3rd, then he's returning again April 7 through July 28. Can someone find out where Leigh Xuereb is going after he leaves Jewel today?

 

On break? (His break was originally scheduled for the beginning of Nov, before he was moved to JW)

 

Back to activities director on Explorer? (Since he's good friends with Richard Spacey, maybe someone going on Explorer can find out from Richard?)

Just before we got off the Jewel we were talking to someone who will be on the Explorer in a few weeks and he said that Leigh told him that he will be on the Explorer at that time (if not sooner). So, I'm guessing he's going back as activities director.

Does anyone know if Joff Eaton will be on the IOS for the October 6-20

Cruise?

 

It's hard to tell. Your cruise is probably the last one of his contract. But, his contract could end on Oct 6, and your cruise could be the first one of the new CD's contract.

 

Hopefully someone going on Indy in the next week or so can find out Joff's exact end date (and who the next CD will be) for us!!!

The cruise director was Keith Williams, it was his first week, he was okay, not too over the top. we were on deck two so did not have much noise, the main disco was in the viking crown and we didnt notice too much noise outside of this area, there was the white party on the pool deck but again we did not hear much.

Anna Bass has now left Brilliance and will not be returning to another ship in the foreseeable future while she explores other options back in the UK. Sorry can't help with who has taken over on Brilliance.

 

That's a shame (for us, maybe she'll have some boffo offers on land) - I thought she was terrific on our TA.
