WOW! I'm really happy for all of you. Really! But I'm crying for myself. Our 5th cruise is in 122 days and I've never gotten ANY OBC on any of my cruises. I watch my cruise for January daily and the price for my cabin has gone up $60 about 3 months ago and has stayed there. I love cruising. I'm not trying to complain. I would just be soooooo excited if I got some OBC.

Outside of 'casino cash'...I haven't had any obc with Carnival...

In 18 days, DH & I are sailing NCL to Bermuda with $450 obc ($300 for booking a suite 9 months in advance & $150 from a combined Latitudes offer)

In October, girls cruise (also on ncl) scored a $500 obc (for 4 of us) for an Amex promotion (would have been an additional $300, but we had to cancel and rebook our date  )

$1.28 for each of us for a whopping grand total of $2.56. The port fees changed and we got the difference.

Have booked early saver on this cruise as well as the last - and have only watched the rates go up on both of them.

Oh well.....Some day.....

Two cabins booked on the Spirit to Australia:

Quad cabin - $1260 OBC ($200 Future cruise cert, $400 from TA and the remainder because of a price drop after final payment).

Our extended balcony cabin dropped in price by almost $3000 from when I originally booked it in January.

Twin cabin - $879 OBC ($200 F&F voucher, $200 from TA and remainder from price drop after final payment).

The inside cabin dropped in price by $680.

I am one VERY happy cruiser :D:D:D

$1500+ from the H1N1 fiasco.:) Somehow our TA was able to rebook us on the same sailing moving us from a OV Quad to 2 aft balconies. Carnival was mad because the Carnival agent made the mistake. By the time the mistake was realized a few days later there were no more OV quads available.

$350 obc for Spirit cruise May 2012 - twin balcony with upgrade to extended balcony - Carnival virgin, no FCC and no shares. I was pretty happy with the whole deal.

$165 on our December Sea Princess Cruise - because of FCC and looks like it will be pretty full when it sails.

so far on my upcoming cruise it's only dropped below my price once and that was before my cruise was paid off.... now it's been stuck at the same price on the fun select option only for months. No other options to choose from, is this because my category is likely close to sold out?

I don't want hundreds of dollars in OBC's. :) I want bottom RATES, which are my priority to get. I never book ship excursions, and purchase little on a ship.

In two weeks I'm cruising the Caribbean - cheap. No OBC. Paid $900 for two.
