ice? for ice skating

Recommended Posts

This may seem like a really silly question but the ice skating rink on the Allure of the Seas, is it really ice or is it synthetic material that is suppose to "feel" like ice. I have once to an event (not a cruise) where they call it ice skating but it was more like highly polished plastic that gave the illusion of ice. Any way could some one let know if its REAL ICE lol :o

Voyager class and above have real ice. No other class ships have ice rinks.

I remember watching undercover boss and seeing something that looked like a foam on a Norwegian ship. Nothing like that on RCL.

That was on Epic. That ice skating floor they laid out on the basketball court was an absolute joke. Sheehan rightfully did away with it after that show.
