I did the Magic's rope course at 60, piece of cake. I usually hit the waterslide too.(check out my avatar) I ziplined and swam with dolphins and stingrays in my 50's. Maybe I'll try the tea next time and act my age. lol

I lost my karaoke virginity last month on the cruise where I lost my cruise-ginity!

Next cruise I will do the slide. And maybe actually be a little more adventurous with food. I tend to stick to what I know, but the cruise is a great opportunity to try new things without any extra out of pocket cost.

So true. I've tried champagne, lobster, alligator, raw squid, pickled octapus all on various cruises.

I did Tea Time last cruise and loved it! Went down the slide on the Magic and loved it! Did the ropes course too and loved it!

I want to go to the Spa (booked a Spa Cabin for our Magic cruise in April). I have not been to the Chefs Table (booked in April). And I really want to me and my DH and our couple friends that are going with us to have Theme Nights in the MDR and around the ship for mine and my best friends hubbys 40th birthdays! Like 20s flappers and gangsters and maybe 80s night! I think it would be fun to be silly!!!

but think you might want to?

I'm thinking of trying some different things on my next cruise. I always tell myself I'm going to do the following but never do.

Mini Golf- don't know why I haven't.

Water Slide- I haven't done so because I think I would look silly being a 32 year old woman going down a water slide.. lol.

I am 47, soon to be 48 and I went on Green Thunder last cruise. There were more people older than me trying it than younger. It was a blast! Afterwards I tried the regular slide and it was a let down.

I keep telling myself that I will play mini golf and never get around to it, maybe next cruise.

I try to pick something for dinner that looks appealing that I have never tried at least once every cruise and I haven't found a loser yet.

Spa- I've always wanted to book a spa treatment. Usually its the price that keeps me from doing so. Yeah I have the money but it's the principal on the price. I want to get a scalp massage those things feel AMAZING.

and finally I tell myself I'm going to try a new drink but I end up going with my good ol' favorite onboard... KISS ON THE LIPS.

So what about the rest of you?

These two, for basically the same reasons you said. I have tried a couple of other drinks, but mostly I go with Kiss on the Lips, just like you. I wanted to try the chocolate getaway thing last cruise, but I went back to the old standby.

I actually am going through he sma ehitng right now...will be going on the Freedom for my bday in April and trying to make a list of things I want to do that I havent already. I too was worried about the water slide but who knows, might just try it this year ;), I didn't know they had scalp massages! I will HAVE to get one of those! I was thinking of getting somekind of spa treatment, bc after all, it will be my last bday in my 20's!

I also wanted to try some new drinks, I think I've only had one drink and I have no idea what it was, I just bought it bc it was pretty lol

I also wanted to try the fish n chips which I've never tried, and wanted to do breakfast in the MDR.

Love this thread :)

I finally did Kareoke on my last cruise. I think this time I'm going to try either a virgin mudslide or mocha chocolate getaway (can't do alchohol). I'll have a free drink coupon this time!

I do not drink and get these all the time-- not the virgin ones because these drinks are mostly alcohol-- but the alcohol content is very low.

I love the mocha choc-- but try the dirty banana too

I've never been in the pool on any cruise ship. Not even the hot tubs. I have no idea why not, guess I just never get around to it. Maybe Ill give it a try on this next cruise.

Me either! My list of things I've never done and plan to on my upcoming cruise are:

pool/waterslide

tea time

order room service chocolate cake

go to the dance club (my SIL will be on this cruise with me, so I'm sure she will go with me!)

towel animal theater

Also, I'd love to do the Behind the Fun tour sometime, but probably won't be able to afford it on my upcoming cruise.

I always cruise with a large number of family members (which is a great way to vacation), but just once I would love to go against the grain, and not worry about making it to dinner or the show or keep any sort of schedule at all. I always try to cram so much in that I just need to take one day and relax and do nothing. Who am I kidding? I'd be bored in less than thirty minutes if I did that, so I mean, go to the Piano Bar.

My next thing to try is the Behind the Scenes Tour & mixologist. Looks like fun.

Did a pedi w/warm stone massage last cruise as well as Chef's Table. Have done tea time, slides - btw DH is 73 and slides, golf, martini tasting, wine & food pairing, pools, hot tubs, love trivia, ziplining, the list keeps growing!

This last cruise, my wife and I joined in on the Super trivia and Scategories games. We had a lot of fun.

I have won the individual general trivia twice now. But, this time we got more involved as team members...it's a good way to meet and talk to people.

I'm more of an extrovert on cruises than she is...while she will talk to a lamp post, she doesn't want to be a focal point. So, she would never do anything that requires her to be on stage.

I almost did the spa this cruise. Wife always takes advantage and gets some sort of treatment. I was going to do a hot shave this trip. But, at $45 I just couldn't bring myself. Not that $45 is a lot of money...but for a shave? I have a pretty heavy beard and would need another one in a few hours! My wife said I should have just to experience it...I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Probably why I don't frequent the casino either!

I did the Spa pass last cruise on the Dream and it was the best money I've ever spent! Tried to talk hubby into buying me one of those loungers. (no go, unfortunately).

I want to get my nerve up to do Karaoke. I've never been able to do it. It's hard to explain that to my husband since I was a voice major in college!

My parents, bf an I will be going on our first cruise and for the last month it's been what will you do? What won't you do between us all. I love everyone's responses since the slide I was hesitant about due to age reasons ( i'm in my later twenties) though my mom that's the first thing she wants to do lol. And a lot of things I have said oh no I won't do that like karaoke and anything that could cause embarrassment. But after readin this thread I really hope to just have a do it attitude now like most of you. Since it seems like in doing so you all made the most of your vacation.

Go for it - most folks are just out to have a great time - no one will judge you as they are also doing things they probably wouldn't do on land!:)

I haven't tried to make my 21 &23 Yo pay their own S&S card. also haven't tried to leave her in collage and him at home. Who knows what that would cost me.

I am one of the mean parents who at that age made the kids put their own money or credit cards down for S & S cards, but then both of them worked from 16 years old and had and have more money than me saved. I would love to have a 0 balance on my card for once - ya that will happen

It's all my wife's fault. Another thing I haven't tried is with the kids in the next balcony cabin I can't join the Balcony Club, Wink, wink.
