RuthlessBoss Posted December 4, 2012 #51 Share Posted December 4, 2012 Dancin in the streets, I think. The show plucks out people from the audience, marches them out the hall to the lobby. The crowds follow andseem to love it. Then non dancers are viewing from the landings.

FloridaGirl1972 Posted December 4, 2012 #53 Share Posted December 4, 2012 I believe the song is either "The Wobble" or "The Cupid Shuffle" both are played at the Sail Away Party, the party under the stars and if you are out for the Groove for St. Jude dance...both popular line dance songs :) The grids must be new, as I just got off the Ecstasy Monday :( There were no grids. They were changing quite a bit on the cruise. The menus changed a slight bit, they were putting up Christmas stuff, and the Kids Clubs said they are getting new items. Do not miss the Motor City show, it was amazing! That is the one in the pictures that pours out into the Atrium after, lots of fun dancing. Love reading your reports...as I am still Cruise sick (homesick from the ship hehe)

MrFunInTheSun Posted December 5, 2012 Author #59 Share Posted December 5, 2012 Good Evening from the Ecstasy... Tonight's been a great evening around the ship. We are rocking and rolling again as we were last evening. The winds are still over 32mph. Upper decks such as where mini golf is, remain closed. If we are actually able to anchor and tender in Half Moon Cay tomorrow morning, I'll be shocked. Can see lights of islands around us this evening. Dinner was good tonight, we sat with a nice couple from Minnesota, very nice couple. We also had a chatty Cathy sitting with us who was very nice and she cramming in cruises to hit platinum. :-/ I've named her Lavern, every time I see her now that's her name. Tonights menu Tonight was formal night and I only saw one person in front of us in jeans. I escaped just wearing nice pants and a polo shirt. Tonight I had the mandatory three lobster tails. Three of us at the table did just that. :-) everyone at the table had lobster. After dinner we went to the aft bar, can't remember the name but did the martini sample once again. DM did well again for a non drinker. Our martini's We then went to see the show Motor City in the Blue Sapphire lounge at 830. Show was pretty good. It then moved out into the main lobby bar like last nights show. It's cool how Carnival has made a lot of their shows very inner active with their guests. We walked around the deck some, love walking around the outside deck at night and hearing the waves and taking in the nice ocean air. Next up was the show The Brits in the Blue Sapphire lounge. This show was actually pretty good. On my last night sailing recently on the Carnival Freedom, they had a similar show called ticket to ride, I believe that's what it was called. Anyways my canadian and NY friends and I walked out of it, it was so bad. I thought at first this show the Brits was going to be just like it as the show was British themed too if I remember correctly. All the guest around the ship appear to be happy and more relaxed as day 2 of their cruise concludes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Please excuse any typographical errors. MrFunInTheSun Posted December 6, 2012 Author #75 Share Posted December 6, 2012 Good Evening! Today's been a wonderful day aboard the Carnival Ecstasy as we visited at Half Moon Cay! We left the ship fairly early this morning and were on the island by 915. Around 830 we made our way to the Blue Sapphire lounge to check in and get our ticket. Since were VIP the nice lady advised us to follow behind the line going down to the tender now and we didn't need a "sticker". We obliged and think we were on the island and in a chair by 915 the latest. We walked around a bit before finding our spot. To the left of us were about five crew members enjoying part of their day on the beach. Tomorrow nights the VIP party. Wahoo free full drinks. At 1130 we made our way to the island cookout area and had a delicious lunch. After lunch we went back to the same general area where we were sitting before. This time we sat near another group of crew members enjoying there day. 130 we made our way back to the area where the shops where, DM made sure she didn't miss anything there then we made our way to the tender and back to the ship. Once back to the ship I posted some pictures here and then took a nap. I wanted to be up on deck as we sailed away but that didn't happen. Around 530 got ready for dinner and made our way to dinner. Dinner was great tonight as we dinned with a nice couple from upstate NY who were on their honey moon and another couple from Ormond Beach, FLwho are in their mid 60's and recently married. Great dinner and conversation. Tonights menu We then walked around the ship and got a latte, enjoyed the even. Had a rest at the putt putt green. Saw the Hasbro Game show, which by the way is fun to watch. I then hit the casino again and donated money after being ahead a few times and should have stopped. Would think I'd know better by now. :-/ Made it to the deck party for a bit and then called it a night. Next up is Nassau on Thursday! Been another great day on the Carnival Ecstasy!
