Ocean Boy Posted February 18, 2013 #27 Share Posted February 18, 2013 That saga about the couple kicked off the Freedom was a great read. Could an aerosol can of Lysol be a hazard because of flammability? Only if you put it next to the smuggled candles.
Cindy Posted February 18, 2013 #28 Share Posted February 18, 2013 In a very recent review someone was complaining that their spray can of Lysol was taken at screening. If no one has an answer by Monday, I will be a "test case" and report back.:p My mom and aunt will be on your cruise! I feel quite certain I will hear about it if their hairspray gets confiscated. Why does the mental image of two octogenarians in the Naughty Room pleading with security to return their Aqua Net make me laugh?:D
dixieva Posted February 18, 2013 Author #29 Share Posted February 18, 2013 It made me laugh:D! Don't mess with the Aqua Net!! Do they really still make Aqua Net hairspray?? I'll bet that strong stuff would launch a bushel of potatoes:eek:!
dixieva Posted February 18, 2013 Author #30 Share Posted February 18, 2013 I think that this is a case of Whispering Down The Lane. (or whatever you called it in your childhood) Maybe but another poster said this was mentioned in someone's review of a sailing out of Baltimore recently. In that case it was Lysol Spray that was confiscated.
Mark_K Posted February 18, 2013 #31 Share Posted February 18, 2013 So we are talking pump type cans or aerosol cans? How would anyone get liquor into an aerosol type spray can?For $19.00 you can buy a fake aquanet hairspray can, it would probably hold 8-12oz of liquor. Mark_K Posted February 18, 2013 #33 Share Posted February 18, 2013 Hardly worth the effort. Not to me, but it's not like you have to throw it away after one use.
