Getting really close ..... 21 days ..... AGGGHHHHH

1) I know you pay to see the Dr. What if you need basic first aid like a band aid or antibacterial ointment ? Are those available or should i pack a small first aid kit ?

2) Anyone ever get stung by jellyfish ? We have them in New England and the sting wicked bad. I usually treat with meat tenderizer... anyone ever get stung on Coco Cay ?

3) What do you do with your seapasses ? Wallet, lanyard , pocket ? what do teens typically do ?

4) Are there computers you can rent on board ship ? I will need to print my boarding pass for return flight. Can I do that or will guest services help me ?

5) Self disembark - I am getting picked up by towncar at 9:30 AM - what time should I exit ship.... 8:00 ? Can I just leave ? Do I have to leave at a certain time ?

6) 5:30 dinner - which means I would go to the 9:00 show ? correct. What about the shows such as the welcome show that is only at 7:00 Will I be able to make it ?

7) Would love to do some gambling ( never have ) do they have a learners table or classes or anything ?

8) Dress shirts - I would like to get them pressed for formal night - what does it cost - not laundered - just pressed - what do you usually do ?

Thanks - I appreciate your help with my last minute questions.

We occasionally get stung by jellyfish at Coco Cay. There is a medical hut there, but we've been able to use the spray bottles of vinegar that are available outside the medical hut.

Hello, 1. bring a few bandades, something for upset tummies

2. can't comment

3. Seeapass cards go on a Lanyard for us.

4. No computer to rent but either bring a Lapto or can use the ships computers. Expensive/minute. If booked thru RCL they will provide all tags.

5. Once ship clears you can self disembark with your luggage

6. Early shows generally around 8 PM, they probably will have two welcome showsw to welcome those with early and late seating.

7. Not sure about the learners tables

8. Not sure of cost to just press shirts, someone might be able to answer or check with guest relations upon boarding.

Yes, there are typically classes in the casino on sea days. However, this can vary by ship. Always pack some basic first aid and any medications you might need. I believe just pressing a shirt is $2.50. You should be able to make the welcome aboard show at 7ish(some ships do this at 7, some at 7:30). Just tell your waiter that you need to be done in time to make the show when you first order. Self debark is called off very early, between 6:30-7:00 on most ships. May I suggest you pay $20 per person, not per luggage piece, and do the luggage valet departure? This means your airline boarding pass will be printed out for you by Guest Services and delivered to your cabin on the last night. You will pack your luggage and place it outside your door no later than 11PM on the last night. Keep out clothing for the next day and any carryon items. You will not see or have to deal with your luggage until you reach your home airport. This is hassle free. Luggage valet passengers can leave the ship whenever they please.

Regarding learning table games in the casino:

Royal Caribbean will allow you to sit at an open table and ask the dealer to show you how to play the game. I've had varied responses from the dealers with this:

1. On one cruise, a dealer spent about 10-15 minutes showing me how to play a game and we did multiple "practice" / different scenario hands.

2. On another cruise, I wanted to learn a new game and the dealer didn't look too excited about my request. He told me that he could show me one or two hands and that would be it.

3. On a recent cruise, our cruise buddies told us that they asked a dealer to show them how to play a new table game and the dealer informed them that, in order for him to teach them, they had to place a bid with money, just like if it were a real hand.

My advice would be to ask a dealer at an empty table. If they give you a hard time, then walk away and go to a different table or try again a different time. Sometimes, watching others play the game is helpful. In my experience with blackjack, the others at the table and the dealer will give you suggestions if you ask for advice. Everyone is friendly and on vacation, so most people are enjoying themselves.

I may be mistaken, but I think that there may be activities listed in the Cruise Compass during the day that teach you how to play different games.

Enjoy your cruise! Hope you have lots of beginner's luck!

Thanks so much everyone - especially the luggage valet. Makes perfect sense, stress free - I just walk off the ship with my hand luggage and catch my ride to the airport.

When I self disembark - do I have to leave when they open it up or can I wait a bit. If my ride is at 9:30, is 90 minutes enough time ( or waaaay too much ) to leave the ship ? If its OK - then I could walk off at 8:15 or so ? Or do they make you leave at 7:00 ?

I really appreciate all fo the help from everyone.

I believe luggage valet has some restrictions; such as; your flight must depart later than noon, and not all airlines do luggage valet; and luggage valet is domestic airlines only; I do not believe they do international flights. If I am wrong with these statements; somebody please correct me.

We always bring whatever meds and 1st aid stuff we might need for little things. So, pack a few bandaids, some asprin or tylenol, etc....those things don't take up much space.

Hubby's seapass is in his pocket. Mine is in a small purse, along with my comb and lipstick.

You can check in with the airline on your phone...and print the boarding pass at the airport, if you can't access the ship's computer...they are slow!
