Yeah, we saw that this yesterday as well. I think it is a cool idea, no stormy seas, no sea sickness, no tendering, it is win win.:D

do they have muster drill? You will still need to know where the fire exits are.

 

port or starboard?; aft, midship or forward? I would still go for a cabin that is forward starboard

 

do you have to checkout pool towels? ?

ship tours or do your own? Either, the choice would still be there

 

do they wait for you if you are back late? LOL, -No they lock the doors and keep everyone in for the evening.:D

I would expect you could take your own luggage onboard (without it being checked in and scanned), so yes, you can.:p
