“Live” from the "Enchantment of the Seas" July 19-26,2013 Back-2-Back

You should try the Daqueri Shack in Nassua. all fresh fruit. you have to take the local bus there. The best on the island.

That sounds good. If I make it back to Nassau in November I'll certainly check it out. :-)

So now that the cruise is over let's talk about rooms. On my first leg I was in room 4545. Great room no issues. On my second leg I literally moved right next door to room 4543. Was great and easy to remember where I lived from one cruise to the next. Well in room 4543 I could always hear walking like ladies high heel walking on tile walking. This of course you could hear every night late.

I was curious why I could hear this in one room but not the other when they are right next to each other. Upon review of deck 5 is the entrance to the Casino, but not just the casino but rest rooms. I could also sometimes hear trickling water. This by no means really bothered me but to a sensitive sleeper this could so was noted about the sound difference between the two rooms. Deck 4 though is a perfect deck to be on IMHO. If certain sounds bother you though avoid room 4543.

Perfect room steward from Jamaica, don't remember his name though. How horrible is that and I talked to him for a week. He moved over to the Enchantment from the Monarch.

Great review! We have not been on the Enchantment, so your review was just what I needed. Looking. Forward to November to see it all firsthand.

Thanks for following along! Glad you enjoyed, you're going to have a super cruise in November and a perfect time of year to cruise too!

This was an awesome review. Thanks for sharing your vacations! I also loved your photos of the Jewel. :)

Was kinda worried about that as our room is somewhat under the casino (We are on deck 4 too, very close to where your room was) I guess I'll be sure to pick up the extra earplugs today or take extra sleep aid (aka tropical drinks :p )

Mr. Fun... we realized after reading this that we were on the same cruise, on the 4th floor! My hubby surprised me with a birthday cruise, so this was an awesome review of our cruise!

Loved Junk beach as we found a ton of sea glass to add to my collection.

Quest and the silent party were a riot.

Thanks for all the memories!!

Casino I didn't hear a thing which is good. I was just hearing high heel shoes walking on the tile floor in the bathrooms that were directly above my room the second leg. As long as your not in room 4543 you most likely wont hear a thing and should be set, my room 4545 which was literally right next door I didn't hear a thing, was crazy though such a difference between two rooms so close. :-)

Have a great cruise!

What a perfect birthday surprise! Glad you had a good time on this cruise too. Regardless of the rain here in there we couldn't have asked for much better weather. Captain Shawn did great in maneuvering around storms on the sea day to avoid rain and succeeded very well.

Now it's time to start planning your next cruise. :-)

Happy Cruising!

Thanks for the Live report and posting all the menus. The Monarch menus were similar to the old Majesty menus. I'm hoping the new Enchantment menus are on the same nights as the Majesty menus.

Anyway, it's good to know that The Bahamas are celebrating their 40th anniversary of Independence. Thank you for sharing with us the opening of a new Fat Tuesdays. I wouldn't have know this without your report.

Looking forward to going back to Nassau and CocoCay in October.

Some day I plan on sailing the Enchantment. Just wanted to sail Majesty one last time and add a visit to Key West.

You're welcome. Glad you were sailing along. I'm pretty sure Majesty will have the same, I believe they are fleet wide and most likely go by the number of sail days in which ones they use.

Coco Cay is beautiful, am glad both trips we made it there. I can't wait to return to Coco Cay in November.

Fat Tuesdays is fun and I really like its location, sort of off the beaten path and away from everything.

Have a great cruise!

I know it's a stretch, but any chance was he a tall slim young man named Benjamin?

Mr. Fun, getting anxious about my sailing leaving on 8/30. Think I look through your thread, as well as your pictures on FB, daily. Looking at the food on the ship, I did not see anywhere that pizza is available? Am I a gluten, or, am I missing it?
