“Live” from the "Enchantment of the Seas" July 19-26,2013 Back-2-Back

Recommended Posts

At 10:30 they had a Cruise Ship Cake Challenge in the centrum. Was pretty funny, where Captain Scott, executive Chef and hotel director decorated a member of the audience.

Winner was one with the biggest ship and most resembled a ship. Captain Scott's cake one. During this event Bing Bong kept pouring I think it was Brandy on each cake. The captains cake had to have had a whole bottle in it. Bing Bong kept sneaking a drink too.

On a Sea Day this is the spot to be if you want quiet and listen to the waves. Sea days are the best and its a beautiful day out here at sea.

Just found your review today! Fun!! I wonder if I can convince DH to tack on a short cruise on Enchantment after our trip to Disney World in December?? We'll be in the neighborhood...

Love the photos, and for some reason I'm really thirsty ;)

Enjoy your last couple of days!

Thanks for the live review, especially as we're sailing on Enchantment for the four night itinerary straight after a week on Oasis next month. She looks lovely after the revamp.

Glad you've had such a good couple of cruises and thanks for the added information :). I would have loved to have seen some photos of the refurbished balcony cabins. Did you manage to sneak a look at any of them?

Good Evening!

It's been a superb day here aboard the Enchantment of the Seas. Captain Shawn and his crew have done a great job navigating us under clear skies.

It's been a busy day here, earlier in the day was the Captains corner with Captain Shawn.

Followed by some towel folding.

Then the famous "Belly Flop" which of course was a riot.

Followed by Officers VS. Guests Pool Volleyball.

Salsa Dance lessons and Salsa Dancing.

Tonight's Menu.

null_zps6d476dcc.jpg

Solarium Roof Remained Closed during the day at Sea. Never saw it open. Some of the upper side windows were open though.

null_zps141f1ef4.jpg

During the afternoon saw family's and friends playing cards all over the ship.

I bought you all a Tee-Shirt. Hope you like and agree.

It's been an over all great day, sad that tonight concludes the second leg of this back-2-back cruise. The exciting news is November 17 is only about four months away and a new "Live" trip will begin when I'm aboard the lovely "Freedom of the Seas"!

null_zpsa74b20ad.jpg

Tonight I'll be having dinner in the dining room as tonight the seafood platter is on the menu. The rest of the evening will be enjoying walking out on deck one last time followed by some time at various places around the ship.

null_zps1549033c.jpg

Guess that's all for now. When I get home on Friday I'll up load more pictures I wanted to post throughout the cruise with of course my not so sober walk back to the ship from Fat Tuesdays. Fat Tuesdays did offer free WiFi to paying customers. They entered a code in for me.

Till a later time "Live" from the Enchantment of the Seas...

Directions to Fat Tuesday's? Saw your drink menu, thanks. Was there a food menu?

R&D

Fat Tuesdays is literally right next door to Junk Beach. You walk to Junk beach and you can't miss it. :-) Better spot than Señor Frogs IMHO.

I'm actually sad your cruise is coming to an end...

Few questions:

Are you going to Quest tonight?

Did the gift shop get new RCCL gear, because I really like that T-shirt and their apparel is normally kinda boring looking.

Enjoy the Rack of Lamb tonight!

Bummer. But thank you so much for the live review! If it's possible I'm even more excited about our cruise in September!

My not so sober pictures walking back to the ship from Fat Tuesdays. They all seem pretty harmless and no one was naked in any of them. Think during the whole cruise that was the only day I got really "Not So Sober". No hangover that next day though which was good.

Wait someone wanted to know where Fat Tuesdays was. I took all these pictures so one could look at them as land marks to find your way there. Yeah that's it.

More of the walk back. I promise I did make it back to the ship. Just wish I knew why I took some of these pictures.

Wonder if I went into Señor Frogs? If I did I don't remember and have no receipts to back up that I went in there.
