Maryscooking Posted July 20, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2013 I have tried reading RCI's website, but couldn't find the answer to this question. If I have a current booking, but cancel it and then within a day or so book on a completely different ship (but same embarkation weekend), will my new ship itinerary count as new for the purpose of sale pricing for new bookings only? Thanks in advance for your answers!

Maryscooking Posted July 21, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted July 21, 2013 Great, thank you! I have a current booking as an insurance policy that we'll get to go somewhere, but if prices come down, there are at least three other sailings I'd prefer for our vacation. molly361 Posted July 21, 2013 #4 Share Posted July 21, 2013 Yes you can. You can also transfer the payment or payments on the current booking to your new one if you prefer, rather than get the credit on your credit card and then charged again. I know it's really the same thing but just wanted you to know FYI
The_Big_M Posted July 21, 2013 #5 Share Posted July 21, 2013 That's an easy one. It's only when it's on the same ship/date that it may not be a new booking.
Mark_K Posted July 21, 2013 #6 Share Posted July 21, 2013 absolutely it's a new bookingIt's new reservation number, but if it's the same person(s), ship and sail date, it may not be considered a new booking under the 'for new bookings only' policy.
