What scuba company does RCI use?

I am interested in finding out what scuba tour company or dive shop RCI's scuba excursions are done through in both Belize and Cozumel. Any input?

I have tried many times to find that info out on various stops. If you can't find it here, sometimes you will have luck on Scuba Board. However, I never like to use the cruise company's scuba excursion unless we don't have a choice, like on a private island stop. But after a less than great experience, we would rather not dive than use the typically cattle car scuba excursions.

 

That being said, my son and I used Blue Magic Scuba in Cozumel last spring and it was a good experience. We looked at doing scuba in Belize but our ship stopped in Belize City and there is not very interesting dives there unless you go to ambergris cay which was too far o get there and get back for the time we were in port.

We did our own excursions and used Papa Hogs. We were able to do two dives and still get back to the ship in plenty of time. We have used them twice - once on a land vacation and once on a RCCL cruise.

Papa Hogs was in Cozumel. Our dive shop in San Antonio uses them for our dive trips to Cozumel. You can google their business.

Royal uses Sand Dollar in Cozumel and I can not in good faith recommend them to anyone. :(

Highly recommended - been diving with them for years - at least a dozen and a half times...
