POM to MIA - Taxi vs Shuttle

For a taxi, there is a flat rate of either $24 or $25 plus tip (both rates have been reported here) direct between MIA and the POM (no stops along the way). A shuttle bus service charges per person, so depends on the number in your party. Most just grab a cab - it's quick and easy. You certainly could share a cab with another person or couple as well, if desired.

Are there taxis available that are SUVs or minivans? There are 4 of us plus luggage and we do not pack light. TIA

Yes - you may need to wait a minute or so as others take the sedans; the good news is that the price is the same! :D

Stick with the cabs.

You might see a few van /shuttle drivers walking the cab line saying they are leaving immediately for the airport. For only $10. Don't leave your line. That's how shuttle drivers lure passengers. They charge per person and won't leave until they have a full van. This is a practice done at POM and PE.
