If I buy the $20 drink package do I have to have my cup with me every time I want a pop to drink? I can't imagine taking it with me everywhere I go on the ship. I think that's a deal breaker for me.
No, you only need the cup if you want to use the Freestyle machine. Your SeaPass card will indicate that you have the package, and that's all you need to get a soda at a bar or restaurant. Note that the selection of soda at a bar or restaurant is only about 6 different flavors - nothing like the Freestyle machine.

So here's a "sharing" question, sort of.

The packages include a 20% discount on a bottle of wine, is it ok to share this discounted bottle with someone not on package? And could I order a bottle at 20% off even if only my wife (non-package) was going to drink it? I assume the former is ok, not sure about the latter.

I don't think they care who consumes the bottle of wine, since that part is not unlimited.

I will be on the Liberty which does not have the Freestyle:(. Can you tell me what flavors are available? I can not have anything with caffeine.
Is jack and disaronno included in the package or are those like patron

Sent from my MB886 using Forums mobile app
The package includes all drinks up to 10.00, so it would now include drinks that are 10.00 or under with all 3 of your mentioned alcohols, including Patron. It has not been reported yet whether those few drinks that are 10.25 or 10.50 are able to be purchased for 0.25 or 0.50 plus 15%, which would include the Wild Blossom Martini @ 10.25, that includes Disaronno. This can be done on Celebrity. It's weird that the limit is 12.00 on wine, but only 10.00 on mixed drinks.

Does anyone know if you can order a Bloody Mary or a Mimosa for room service breakfast by using the package? They have a spot to order them on the delivery card....

But I also heard that you can not use the package to have drinks delivered to your room. So not sure which is true.

None of the packages include drinks from room service.

We had the premium package on Allure last week. One evening we visited the champagne bar & I ordered a White Russian w/double Stoli Elit. I was charged $21 + change. They did not reduce the price by the $10 beverage limit on the package.

Did you ask??? Everything we've been told about the new packages indicate that you only pay the cost of the drink above $10!!

That surprises me. I'd like to know the rationale they used to deny the $10 credit. Here's the relevant paragraph from the FAQ:

Q If a Guest has purchased a particular package, can they pay the difference in price from their package limit if they want to order a higher priced drink?

A. Yes, a Guest only pays the difference between the 2 prices for a higher priced item. Example, on the Premium package brandy is covered up to $10, if the guest orders a brandy that is listed at $14 they will only pay the additional $4.

Soooo, I was wondering - I can't drink a lot of soda, but I ordered the soda package anyway (need something to drink). Now I read about the Replenish Package and wondering if that might be a better idea for me? What is the "premium coffee"? Do we need bottled water - I have read on hear that tap water is just as good? On my last cruise (7 years ago), the Windjammer had Apple and Orange juice from the machine available - and I just would go fill my soda glass from that when I wanted - is this still available? Do they have water fountains or dispensers available on ship or on the soda machine? What the heck is "still water"??

I hate to spend the extra $100 for the cruise, but..... Input is greatly appreciated :D

The Royal Replenish Package

$20 per guest each day, includes:
•Premium coffee
•Premium tea
•Bottled water
•Sparkling water (375ml)
•Still water (500ml)
•Fresh squeezed orange juice
•Non-alcoholic cocktails
•Fountain soda with souvenir Coca-Cola cup

Well sounds to me like you're pretty easy to please. I'm thinking you can get away without a package at all.
Coffee, tea, and lemonade are pretty much available around the clock, and juices for most of the morning. "Still" water is just regular bottled water. (Still is no bubbles), and water out of the tap is perfectly fine for drinking.

Not 100% sure, but I think they mean capuccinos and the like that you might get in the MDR for "premium" coffees

If you had ordered your second shot of stoli elit 5 minutes after your original order and then just poured it in your white russian, then the result would have been the same and both drinks would have been covered since they were under 10.00 each. The 21 + change you were charged included the extra 15% tip, so broken down individually they would have been under the 10.00 ceiling and the 15% is then picked up by RCI.

I knew but did not ask. #1, the bar was quite busy. I would've gone elsewhere but not all the bars had Stoli Elit. #2, the bartender was moving fast & not easily engage-able. I felt lucky to get to place the order. #3, this wasn't my first cocktail of the evening by far. In the moment with my state of mind I totally didn't care. It was unimportant. I wasn't about to go to the mat over $20. I did, however, pAy closer attention to staying within the $10 for the duration of the cruise. When you think about it, that's their loss. Had they honored the $10 how many more cocktails/doubles might I have ordered over the subsequent 5 days? Prob'ly more than $10 worth!

This may have been asked already… But…

If my wife and I buy a package and while she is getting ready I'm sent out for drinks…

Do I need to bring her room key with me to order her drink or will they let me get hers and mine with one card?

Our experience with the Old beer wine package last week was largely positive - great service ( except at the casino where they sucked for everyone equally).

For us it was a good deal for sea days ( and we ended up with 4) but we also had drinks included in our shore excursions - so it ended up being a losing proposition on those days. It was nice to have wine with dinner every night and that made it a winner overall.
Does anyone know how Celebrity ( who are so often highly praised on here for the quality of their drinks packages) police the "sharing" problem.
Pretty much they pay attention to the customers. The servers/bartenders check your cards. Also they won't usually bring you a second drink while you are still drinking one & really stick to the not getting getting a drink prior to the time limit.

When we were on our cruise my dh had the premium alc package & I had the non-alc package. They'd check our cards when we ordered drinks. It was funny because I'd order a drink & they'd start telling me I'd have to pay & I'd say I know, it's fine. If you frequent the same places, after a few days they stop asking for your cards & will sometimes bring you the 2nd drink a little early. The only time we ever had the slightest issue was dh ordered a breakfast drink (some kind of smoothie with alcohol) and it came while he was in the buffet line, they weren't real excited to be leaving it with me & I felt like they watched me until he came to the table with his food.

Like I said the main thing is they do really pay attention to the people and the cards. The only thing that was never an issue was getting a bottle of water the same time you got a drink which I've read seems to be an issue on some RCCL ships with the new package.
Would I be able to get a mimosa & an espresso or latte' at the same time? I often drink my coffee at the same time as my mimosa.
It has been reported that on RCI it's only 1 drink at a time, so you can't get your breakfast drink combo or a bottle of Evian or Pellegrino as a combination at a bar with your mixed drink. They allow this on Celebrity, but not yet on RCI.
You can always order a double espresso at the coffee shop, take a 5 minute stroll and then order your mimosa at a bar and then enjoy them both.
