Ann...everyone should experience sailing out of NYC at least once in a lifetime...past the Statue of Liberty, the World Trade Center, and the entire skyline of Manhattan. We did it on the Veendam to Bermuda. It is worth the price of the cruise just for that one hour experience out...and back in...to Manhattan.

Agreed!:) A coule of times we've sailed from right in New York, but the last time was from a cruise port away from downtown - always Cunard, though. I'm lost in New York! My little brain doesn't encompass the big city.:eek:
