Fox Sports

It will depend on what satellite they are connected to, regional distribution rights, and what package Princess has purchased. They may also purchase special events like a particular race as a one off, so no way to know for 100 percent sure, even if they don't get Fox1 normally.

My dh is worried he is going to miss the opening start of Nascar. Does anyone know if Fox Sports 1 is carried on the CB.

Usually, only nationally televised shows and events with wide appeal to most passengers will be broadcast. Mostly because it costs a small fortune per ship to do so. The Indy 500 might be broadcast, regional events aren't. ESPN might be available, Fox Sports isn't.

He can stop worrying. He can be certain it will not be shown on board.

Set your DVR and see it when you return.

One of the real hurter's for us on the 30-day BA-LA is that the entire NCAA Basketball NC will be missed, except we will get back for the final game.

*OUCH!*

Doug

Reception permitting, the Final Four are usually shown on MUTS.

I agree with others that the cable station Fox Sports is not available. The only exception I've experienced was recently on the Sappire for the NFC Championship game between the Seahawks and the 49ers. The earlier AFC Championship game was obviously an ESPN feed however the NFC game was a direct Fox feed.

So my experience has been that nothing on Fox Sports (cable channels) will be shown on the ship. There's a very slight chance that a Fox Network sporting event would be shown. However to me it's very doubtful that Princess would pay to show NASCAR onboard.

we sailed and I found ESPN broadcasting the race in the casino at the bar. Then some idiot came in and asked the bartender to change the channel. Boy was I upset. I found ESPN international in my room was broadcasting the race. I never saw Fox though. Sorry. I know how he feels! I do have it on my computer but the internet package is so ridiculous in price it isn't worth it.
