JonnyGUofD Posted March 21, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2014 I was just looking at the April 2015 Schedule for the Eclipse and noticed that there are no cruises for the entire month. Anyone know if it's going into Dry Dock then?
Rare cruisestitch Posted March 21, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2014 There is a dry dock scheduled then
zelker Posted March 21, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 21, 2014 She's not in dry dock all of April as she's doing a TA that sails on April 21st but for some reason that cruise doesn't show up on the web site yet (although it is bookable through Captain's Club reservations). ozark74 Posted March 21, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2014 (edited) There is a dry dock in April, 2015. We get back April 12 then it is not scheduled until April 21. It is a short one only 8 days. Edited March 21, 2014 by ozark74

Yes, and to add to that there are roll calls for all those cruises in April.
WestLakeGirl Posted March 21, 2014 #6 Share Posted March 21, 2014 The final Caribbean cruise previously scheduled for April was cancelled due to the dry dock which will take place just before the transatlantic crossing
WahooNKS Posted May 2, 2014 #7 Share Posted May 2, 2014 (edited) The final Caribbean cruise previously scheduled for April was cancelled due to the dry dock which will take place just before the transatlantic crossing Or maybe just AFTER the transatlantic? We just got off the Equinox in March and she was headed to Barcelona to dry dock for refurb. That's where I think they dry dock Celebrity ships. kevo Posted May 2, 2014 #8 Share Posted May 2, 2014 I think Equinox is in dry dock in Cadiz.
wendychloecruiser Posted May 2, 2014 #9 Share Posted May 2, 2014 We just got off the Eclipse and whilst onboard we were advised that the ship is going in for refit immediately prior to the TA in April, 2015.
CRUZBUDS Posted May 2, 2014 #10 Share Posted May 2, 2014 We're booked on the last Caribbean March 29 - 14 days. We hope the upcoming drydock doesn't cause any issues for us. We were in a HAL ship that was going into drydock. They were replacing carpet aboard for most of the 15 day cruise.
Gracie115 Posted May 2, 2014 #11 Share Posted May 2, 2014 We are scheduled for the TA that follows the drydock...suspect it will mostly be about converting the area of the MDR for the Suite dining room and possibly changing Cellar Masters to the Gastropub that was just added on Equinox. I don't believe it is a "major" drydock other than that, after all the ship will only be a little over 4 years old at that point......
CRUZBUDS Posted May 2, 2014 #12 Share Posted May 2, 2014 Having just gotten off the Eclipse a couple of weeks ago, I can report that it looked immaculate to us. I didn't see anything that I'd change or update. What a nice ship!! :D

I am also on this cruise and am hoping there are no issues as well. Hope we've made the right decision booking this.
