Explorer based at Southampton

I see the Explorer is going to be based at Southampton next year. Any thoughts on this? Isn't it an older ship?

Virtually identical to Adventure which will be there this summer. Explorer is one year older than Adventure.

If you want to see her upgrades, do a search on google for Navigator of the Seas revitalization. RC will be doing much the same to Explorer.

Explorer is an awesome ship. This was the first RCI ship that we sailed on and we have been with RCI since. It is only a bit smaller than Independence which has been sailing from Southampton and has almost all of the same amenities.

Personally I'm going to miss the Explorer, she's a beautiful yet solid ship.

Does anyone think her upgrade will include Izumi, the same as Navigator's? It isn't listed on the website but I would be sorely tempted for an Explorer cruise if she does get Izumi! It's my favourite restaurant on RC so far!

I know Izumi was planned to go into the Viking Crown area at one time.
