Enchantment Prices. Whoa!

My sister in law wanted my help in finding a deal for a 3 night cruise this summer.

 

I recommended the Enchantment to her but I had no idea it was sailing for so much higher than the Monarch used to be and the Majesty is.

 

Prices start at $694 for an inside room in July. For the three night!

 

For three nights, phew :eek:! I think they're going with the Majesty, which is price around half of what Enchantment is for every weekend they are looking for.

 

No complaints here, I was just shocked at how much more expensive it was than Monarch used to be.

Must be something about that particular weekend. I've booked a JS on Enchantment for Sept 2013, and Sept 2014, and the prices were the same as Monarch during those periods.

It looks to just be peak times in general. It looks that way all summer, unfortunately for them.

I just compared prices for July this year to what they were going for last year same time droid of July.

 

They are way up. Last year even at its highest was still between $100 and $200 less pp.

 

Unless bookings are way up I would expect prices to fall probably a bit right after final payment and some more once they get into the 50% penalty phase.
