Las Ramblas

Recommended Posts

Would it be OK to walk down Las Ramblas during the day or is the atmosphere better in the evening?

Absolutely! Do both. Make sure you walk all the way down by the Columbus Statue, and along the waterfront. Great photo opps there. Also make it a point to visit La Boqueria Market. It is incredible. The flower stands, the mimes, the architecture. It is a spectacular

city. I do hope you are also going inside La Sagrada Familia. No visit to Barca is complete without a stop there. Make sure you reserve tix in advance and skip the line. Enjoy every minute!

Oops! Also stop at Parc Guell.,another must see.

Are you limited to just one or the other?

After a day visit, you will want to see the whole area during the evening too. It's just different.

The "Gothic Area" off Las Ramblas, is an area you don't want to miss. Go there in daylight to really enjoy the architecture ...and it's easier to find your way. ;)

Like others , do the day and night walking on LaRambla. Be careful of the pickpockers! Best part was when we walk the street early morning around 7am there few people walking and we took lot of awesome pictures of the buildings and etc. Overall I felt very safe during evening walks (very crowded). I had safepac neck pouch!!!

Recommend the market and enjoy breakfast at Pintotxo Bar!!!

The Old Gothic neighborhood was very nice around Picasso Museum.

Oh... avoid the restaurants on LaRambla at all cost!!!

There some good restaurants in Placa Reial courtyard (right after Carrer de La Unio street)

Enjoy this beautiful city!!!
