# C & A CREDITS for cruise????

Have a question for you................

 

If you booked a cabin(lower than a suite) and got a free upgrade,do you get one credit or two??

 

Anyone know for sure??

PH8: The upgrade fairy has not yet visited us :) but on these boards, I have read about BOTH outcomes: getting the extra cruise credit and NOT getting the extra cruise credit. Another RC "consistency" problem. :)

Well, if the upgrade fairy visits you, then sidle on up to the C&A Loyalty Ambassador on board ship and have a friendly little chat with him/her about giving you the suite credit.

 

I know I certainly would if it pushed me into the next category.

3 cruise credits is the max for any one cruise...the same as Celebrity

We were upgraded to a Junior Suite on the Explorer a couple of years ago, but only recieved the one credit... Maybe I'll call them up and ask for the additional credit. Who knows!

We got an upgrade too on our Voyager cruise but still only worth 1 because of the date.

 

Per Royal's site:

"Receive an extra cruise credit when you purchase and sail in a suite (categories RS, OS, FS, GS, JS) for sailings beginning on or after January 1, 2004 "

 

I have often wondered the same. Nice to see someone asking.

Thanks for the info, I was thinking maybe they should only count as 1/2 a credit since they are only half of a regular cruise. I mean really 3 days......do really even have to pack for so few of days?
