Originally booked a VH guarantee. Got upgraded to VA. Then today got upsell offer to SA-SC for $200 ($100 pp but I am cruising solo so $200).

 

Ended up with SB5190 on Zuiderdam for next week in Alaska.

 

All for less than $1800 all in.

 

Now hopefully the Noro scare will be done.

 

I had an aft balcony in the Caribbean and never though I would get another. Very excited.

 

Pays to be off season. Especially since I don't mind the cooler weather.

5190 is the port after-wrap SB. I has the largest veranda other than a PS...and it's completely covered. Perfect for that Alaska liquid sunshine!

That was our suite on the Z for going through the Panama Canal. Even though there is a lot of overhead coverage, because of the angle of the sun, there was almost always some sunny spots to bask in as well.

 

The balcony is so huge, I believe it is larger than some inside cabins.

 

I hope to book it again sometime.

This is an incredible deal! We had this same suite a year ago on our Alaska trip (and paid about three times what you did!!!!!) It is a lovely room and that balcony is wonderful. I am so thrilled for you.

 

By the way, I am in Alaska now before our May 15 southbound. The weather in the Anchorage/Girdwood/Whittier area has been glorious - sunny and warm.
