Carnival Gift Card - 10% Bonus Offer

Recommended Posts

Not sure if the gift cards are non-refundable but you can just buy chips from the gift card at the casino and cash out without playing if that's the case. Easy solution. :)

Yep. Or apply the card to your S&S acct, charge money to the acct from a slot machine and then cash out. I'm going to do just that if I happen to have any left over.

I thought gift cards were non-refundable like Cruise Cash and Casino Cash meaning if you put a $200 on your sail and sign account and only spend $150, that you do not get the $50 back?

No...you DO get it back in the form of another gift card or you can do as others have shown, and cash it out in the casino. Unlike Cruise Cash which IS non-refundable

Good grief! I'm in a dispute with ABC Gift cards over some Carnival Cards I tried to buy in April. Their site was unofficially down for maintenance, and while I thought I got just an error message, those suckers charged me! Even worse, they sold the Carnival cards to someone else the next morning.

My credit card company is escalating a dispute. Apparently they need the money, ignoring the dispute and riding out the free loan as long as they can. All this for what, 10% off, which I can do straight from Carnival?

I'm ordering a $440 card, which combined with the promo will cover our excursions and OBC. Thanks for posting this thread! :)

We cruise in August. We booked Early Saver and we were required to have the cruise paid in full by now.

I was considering figuring out what TIPS would be for our family of 6 and getting a gift card in that amount to apply to our sail and sign accounts. Same thing with the cheers beverage program... if I purchase that amount and in advance apply the gift card to my sail and sign account...I shouldn't have any problems - should I?

No one saw any small print regarding not being able to apply the gift cards towards tips or the "CHEERS BEVERAGE PROGRAM" Have they?

First of all, THANK you to the OP for this thread!

Second, does anybody know if these can be used to purchase cruise cash? I would love to have everything all applied to my S&S before we get there and not tie up the line at Guest Services if I can help it.

Try http://www.carnivalgiftcards.com/

That should take you to the same page.

I just used it with no problem about 20 minutes ago.

Thank you...it's still not working for me..I even called carnival and her page would not load too. She told me to keep trying as they could not sell over the phone, only online.....frustrating!

Me too. I bought $4000 worth today for my cruise this Saturday. Got 4000 miles on my visa and $400 from the gift card promotion. Now my cheers package is $2 for the entire week. Great start to the cruise! :)

Bought two egiftcards last night (it wouldn't let me order more than one per transaction). I didn't mind doing two separate transactions, one for $1000 and one for $700. Received both instantly via email, but had a zero balance when I went to check to pay off my cruise. Waited until this morning and had no problem using them. Bonus egiftcards came this morning and had the balance already loaded to them. I plan on using my free $170 to enjoy one or two frozen fruity beverages on board :D

How long does it take the promotional g.c. to come through to your email? I bought the regular e gift card and it came through instantly.

I bought my first one late in the evening and the bonus card came through during the middle of the night. I bought my second one in the morning and the bonus card didn't come through until the middle of the night again. I think they must process and send them out then--at least based on my sample size of 2 transactions. heh.
