Does anyone know how many bottle of wine can each adult passenger bring onboard? I can't fine the answer on Celebrity's website. Thanks!

1 bottle per person: 750ml. They do check by scanning bags.

It's actually two per stateroom, not per person. I have carried both of our bottles on myself many times. It equals one per person, unless you were a single.

How about children? We have two state rooms each carrying one adult and one under 18.

At the risk of getting flamed, although the rule is 2 bottles per stateroom, DW and I have always each brought 2 bottles on (resulting in 4 per stateroom). We've never been questioned about there being 2 bottles in each of our carry ons.

That being said, worst case scenario is they hold the extras until the end of the cruise and give it back to us.

Regarding your last question, Celebrity's policy is two bottles per stateroom and makes no mention of an age requirement.

From the website, please note all the way on the bottom. Also, you are only allowed to take them on board at embarkation, not at any ports except for some wine cruises.

For the safety of our guests and crew there are certain items that are not allowed onboard. If these are found they will be confiscated. Alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, flammable liquids, explosives, and dangerous chemicals will not be returned.

Firearms & Ammunition, including realistic replicas

Sharp Objects, including knives and scissors*

Illegal Drugs & Substances

Candles & Incense

Coffee Makers, Clothes Irons, Electrical Extension Cords, & Hot Plates

Baseball Bats, Hockey Sticks, Cricket Bats, Bows and Arrows

Skateboards & Surfboards

Martial Arts Gear

Self-Defense Gear, including handcuffs, pepper spray and night sticks

Flammable Liquids and Explosives, including lighter fluid and fireworks

HAM Radios

Dangerous Chemicals, including bleach and paint

Alcoholic Beverages**

*Personal grooming items such as safety razors are allowed. Scissors with blade length less than 4 inches are allowed.

**Two bottles wine per stateroom are allowed on embarkation day, subject to corkage fees.

The amount is per stateroom not per person so you will have no issues if each adult is carrying a max of two bottles. If any adult is carrying more than two bottles they will likely be stopped by security.

since the regs are 2 per stateroom and as long as there is an adult booked into each one that is fine. if one cabin has only minors in it then technically they MAY NOT bring any wine on board.

No, worst case scenario is they take them and do NOT give them back, ever. It has happened before. Not common apparently, but not unheard of either.
