PH8 Posted September 30, 2014 #51 Share Posted September 30, 2014 (edited) It is still possible for a private car to drop off bags without having to pay parking? Yes,I did this the past couple of months...............drop my luggage off.....go eat lunch outside the port...........drop my rental car off............come back around 1:30 and go straight to my cabin..........usually luggage is not far behind.. Are they still routing private cars with baggage drop off through the parking structure? Or are they back to the way it was years ago when they would let you bypass parking and go straight to the porter area. cruisegirl1 Posted September 30, 2014 #56 Share Posted September 30, 2014 Ditto what Kathy said. Seems every time we sail RCCL from PC they change the routine. We paid on the way IN this past summer. It was better for us as there was always a traffic back up to pay on the way out as most people are exiting the lot at about the same time. Sitzmark Posted September 30, 2014 #57 Share Posted September 30, 2014 Do they still charge 5 days parking for a 4 night cruise? Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app The offsite lots do this also.
Sitzmark Posted September 30, 2014 #58 Share Posted September 30, 2014 Disney has always been pre-pay. Different lots and different garages. While prepay online was an option with Disney it was not required as of March 2014 when we were there. We parked in the garage and paid as we left. Sitzmark Posted September 30, 2014 #61 Share Posted September 30, 2014 (edited) But two wrongs don't make a right! Sent from my iPad using Forums That's true, but I don't think it's wrong, they advertise a daily rate, not a nightly rate. If you are parked there Saturday through Saturday you're there for 8 days. We paid 72 dollars at the port garage for 8 days parking, our hotel gave us a coupon. Edited September 30, 2014 by Sitzmark

Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app I hate that(ok,maybe hate is too harsh a word but...)....It's like double dipping.........say I cruise on EN Friday to Monday.........I pay the price x4(paying Friday,Sat,Sun,Mon)......then someone cruises EN Mon to Friday, when I get off........they are also paying that same Monday that I did..

flpab Posted October 1, 2014 #64 Share Posted October 1, 2014 I paid tonight for Park Port Canaveral Radisson off site parking and they charge by the day but at least it is only 31.80 for a three day cruise.
