I wonder if they'll have any further delays. Now they can't do any construction work that's close to the restaurant unless the restaurant is closed.

Good that no one was injured. I wonder if thet have been able to remove all the old piles yet?

 

The Port Canaveral webcam was pointed in that direction yesterday afternoon, and it looked like there were still a bout a half dozen pilings still to be removed.

They dropped a huge I-beam on top of Grill's roof yesterday afternoon:eek: Not sure of the damage, but at least no one was injured.

Royal can use one of the Carnival terminals if necessary.

Just heard on the news this morning that the target date now for Terminal 1 to open is December 27

Nope, I think they are building a Homewood on A1A across from Racetrac though. The future Cove development is seperate from the retail pads at Terminal 1.

OK, In one of the port's early releases, they talked about a high end hotel as part of the cove build out. Maybe that's on hold or fell off the table.

Still in the plans, just a separate development, still being planned. Pretty ambitious, something like City Walk at Universal
