Coopdog08 Posted February 6, 2015 #27 Share Posted February 6, 2015 How much crappin' money do you have to spend in the casino to get these offers???? Lol Has nothing to do with how much you spend... Has to do with time spent playing and your average bet. They want people who will spend time in the casino...
Rare Jamman54 Posted February 6, 2015 Author #28 Share Posted February 6, 2015 I am happy for everyone who gets these offers..however, I have NEVER BEEN OFFERED ANYTHING!!!! It is sooo frustrating! I gamble, I buy drinks, I have been on 9 Carnival cruises.. the whole system is frustrating when people come on here and brag about the great and amazing deals (sometimes free) that they get and they have been on 1 cruise..or barely gamble...or whatever. I am venting--but it just does not seem like a common sense (or fair) system. I certainly understand your frustration. If it makes you feel any better I didn't get my first offer until I had 32 Carnival cruises under my belt! The purpose of my post was to alert everyone to check for possible offers, not to rub it in anyone's faces. There seems to have been a few that got the offer, but didn't even know it was there, that was why I posted
kendracruises Posted February 6, 2015 #29 Share Posted February 6, 2015 Got the May 23rd cruise for 8 nts on Conquest from FLL for $130pp balcony with this offer! I was not looking to book a cruise but your post made me go look and couldn't resist such a great rate plus the $100 OBC!
ajee622 Posted February 6, 2015 #30 Share Posted February 6, 2015 I have a premier and casino offer. We are also booked on a cruise next month for the breeze. Think they want me to play??!!! Hahaha Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Katfncy Posted February 6, 2015 #31 Share Posted February 6, 2015 I always read these and become so envious of everyone that gets one. I have never received one, but I thought ok I'll go check today. Oh my gosh i have offers. WOO HOO. I think i might have to take 2 cruises this year also. Who can resist a balcony cabin for 7 days at a total of 485.00 with $100.00 on board credit. NOT ME! i'm calling friends now to see who will go with me. I normaly would never go out of Baltimore since it takes so long to get someplace warm, but hey if you go in the summer who cares you are on a ship and it's already warm here. bingomamma19 Posted February 6, 2015 #32 Share Posted February 6, 2015 (edited) Has nothing to do with how much you spend... Has to do with time spent playing and your average bet. They want people who will spend time in the casino... I think this is right. I am not a big spender, but I play 3-5 hours each day on board--minimum bets. Average 50-100 per day in spending --usually bring about 500 or less to spend in casino for the whole cruise. I have been on 8 cruises--one coming up March 28th on Breeze--4 of these have been these almost free offers--and I have this latest one in my VIFP profile also. I wonder also, if you are already on their "list" how long you stay eligible---I just can believe how many of these I get each year and that half of my cruises have cost me almost nothing (I only do 7 or 8 day balcony cruises). ajee622 Posted February 6, 2015 #33 Share Posted February 6, 2015 It's got to be hit or miss. This will be my 5th carnival but first premier cruise. My wife won a free one once. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
samoan_bulldozer Posted February 6, 2015 #34 Share Posted February 6, 2015 I don't spend a whole lot of TIME in the casino but my bet size is very large. I max bet every slot on every spin and when I play blackjack I play two seats. I would love to see how they calculate the offers/comps.
texast518 Posted February 6, 2015 #35 Share Posted February 6, 2015 I'm not a high roller by any means, but I just received a Casino Pack and Go offer that covers a multitude of sailings between now and the end of June. $25. inside cabins on short cruises, $50 inside cabins on longer cruises, plus up to a $100 OBC per cabin. ajee622 Posted February 6, 2015 #37 Share Posted February 6, 2015 I'll tell you what though after this cruise I'll probably never do a regular cruise again. I'm getting $700 and drinks card so tough to go back to normal. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
cowboy$fan Posted February 6, 2015 #38 Share Posted February 6, 2015 I checked my VIFP account and no special offer :( so I created an account for my wifes VIFP # and she had the offer :D now to choose a time for another cruise this year :D For people wondering about who gets the offers I have no clue, my wife plays slots & gets the "Drinks on Us" card. I play "Let it Ride" (and lose ;) ) and get nothing. I would suggest checking your spouses VIFP offers, worked for us.
rok233 Posted February 6, 2015 #39 Share Posted February 6, 2015 These offers have nothing to do with how much money or time you spend in the casino. It's competely random and the luck of the draw.

We do spend about 3-5 hrs a day in the casino with $25 average bets. It feels great to finally get an awesome offer like this!

kathy884 Posted February 7, 2015 #44 Share Posted February 7, 2015 Hollywood Casinos seems to offer freebie cruises to individuals who do a bit of gambling at their casinos every year too. Two years ago they offered balcony room for two and we added a third person and did the Valor Southern Caribbean itinerary out of San Juan. We also did the upgrade to mid ship vs. front or back included with the deal. Last year the offer was down to two for ocean view and we passed -- more interested in land vacations. DH got the same offer again for this coming April for anything from then till the end of March next year 2016. We already have trips planned again, but he might do an extra trip and maybe do an Alaskan cruise with DS who is 19 (would be kind of neat to seem them do a father - son thing -- They've never just gone on their own before and I wouldn't have the vacation time due to other trips and activities planned.) // Usually whenever we've looked at doing Alaska we've changed our mind due to high costs, but with this freebie supplementing the trip they could upgrade to balcony and do whatever excursions they want too -- those Alaska excursions sound cool, but are pretty pricey, so having most of the cruise paid for is pretty nice. Just saying that Hollywood Casino gamblers seem to get an annual deal on Carnival. With the offer too they give some perks like the early boarding with the lounge and early disembarking that normally people have to pay for or get as perks for having done lots of cruises on the line. 2Shoes2Go Posted February 7, 2015 #46 Share Posted February 7, 2015 DH was in casino only once, nine years ago, before we were married. Spent a couple hundred. Hasn't been back since. I have never even gone in the casino. I have never touched a machine. He got all those offers! We booked three. Don't plan on any casino time. :)
rok233 Posted February 7, 2015 #47 Share Posted February 7, 2015 Don't feel bad if you didn't get one. I gamble a lot, have been on 4 cruises in the past year and didn't get one either. I'm just going to wait for the next round of Premier Cruise offers and get an even better deal than this one. :D

elainmir Posted February 7, 2015 #50 Share Posted February 7, 2015 Well for the love of snoopy I got it! :D But I've made myself weary looking at all the possibles tonight..gonna have to try again in the morning! possibly could add 4 days for the fam on our spring break trip but that'd cost us 1,000 more for the 4 of us...otherwise we may do an 8 day ...for less than 400 total! So excited.
