Wow, 24 knots is pretty good with only two azipods running!

Bob, Freedom isn't going 24 knots. Robyn's pic showed them cruising at 21.8 on 2 azipods. The screenshot of FOS going 24.2 knots was from another poster taken 5/19/12. You can also see their location as being off the Florida keys.

Okay, here is the update on lounger cushions straight from Michael Rasmussen - Hotel Director. They were thrown out during drydock and were supposed to have been replaced, but they have yet to receive the shipment. He did not know when they would arrive, but for those of you on the next cruise, you won't have them.

Interesting to note that when I mentioned CC, Michael made it clear that they " don't have time to read all that stuff" and the way he said it made me believe that they don't take it all that seriously, or see it as a forum for helpful feedback. That's too bad.

Thanks for finding this out. I sure hope by July when I go they are there! I remember we were on FOS when they first got the cushions for the wicker furniture and it kept sliding down when you got on it, very annoying. Then when we went back a few months later, they had put this velcro stuff on it so it stayed on the lounger. I had brought my handy duct tape just in case because I would have duct tape those cushions to the lounge chair if I had too! No way was I paying the additional price for an owners suite and not being able to use my lounger :)!

I've spoken to Michael before in person too so I get the flippant way he talks sometimes.

Thanks again for your detective work.

Have you managed to check out deck 13, San Tropez, for me to see if there is still the shaded area up there?

No I didn't, but since it's you.... I will go now and risk life and limb (and quite possibly getting my head blown off by the wind) to answer your question [emoji5]️

There were so many people on the tour it was hard to get pictures of just the cabins themselves without people appearing all over the place!

Consider the wind training for when I get you on the fence at Maho Beach.:)

You just made my day. We upgraded to the family ocean view from two insides, but we were a bit worried about just having one bath for 4 people. For the views and the extra room we were going to make the best of it, but it is awesome that it does have the extra bath.

Okay, here's your answer. I am officially having the worst hair day now thanks to this little mission I had to run for you....there is actually a bigger shaded area on St. Tropez [emoji1] the wind is so strong I couldn't bring out my phone, otherwise I would have taken a pic.

Guess what? Now you owe me......cue sinister music [emoji48]

Couple more questions - Did everyone at the Mingle get a little parting gift like your paper clips?

Is there smoking in the piano bar ? Thanks.

No, you put your name in a draw and if they picked your ticket, you won.

There is NO smoking in the Schooner Bar. The casino allows smoking, and it's a few feet away.

Those new cabins look ready for occupancy, did they say anything about why they are not using them until the March 1st sailing? I feel bad for all those people who had them booked for tomorrows sailing that have now been moved to inside cabins.

No, there was no mention of why they are not ready for occupancy.

Although we have been on several RC cruises we have never eaten lunch in the MDR. Everyone talks about the salad but what else do they have? Is there a lunch menu posted outside the MDR? I also wonder about MDR breakfast- what do they serve?
