GUT2407 Posted March 3, 2015 #51 Share Posted March 3, 2015 They should have had a "ANZAC" wall as well, I am sure it would have filled.:D About the same area in ANZAC as two 100's

Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted March 4, 2015 #53 Share Posted March 4, 2015 Just got home from playing tourist at Circular Quay. Here are some pics of the QE and the poppy wall. I asked one of the people selling the poppies if this poppy wall was a different one from the one they used in Auckland but he didn't know. Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted March 4, 2015 #56 Share Posted March 4, 2015 Thanks Mic. Unfortunately it was a bit cloudy this morning but cleared up beautifully this afternoon. They will have a lovely evening to sail out of the harbour. We took the opportunity for peek inside the revamped OPT, couldn't go in but we could look through the door. It looks good. Nice undercover baggage drop area as well. 2 weeks and 2 days and we'll be going there for real. :D

Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted March 4, 2015 #58 Share Posted March 4, 2015 (edited) I like how you have the chap in the wheelchair framed nicely.:D Completely by accident. I took about four shots of it and that was the only one where someone didn't walk into the frame in front of the poppy wall just as I took the photo. It was fairly busy down there. Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted March 4, 2015 #61 Share Posted March 4, 2015 Yes, that shot was taken about 1:30pm and there were lots more poppies being added after that. It will be chocka by the time they take it onboard.
