Port Canaveral Docked Ship??

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know what ship is at Port Canaveral right now? My husband and I are wondering and can't figure it out. The GPS is off so we can't tell by the map. Just curious. Thank you

Cruisett says the only ship in PC today was Carnival Sensation but it was supposed to leave at 4. Not sure what ships is there, but I can see it on the camera.

If it's a BIG ship....did I hear QUANTUM was making a stop ??

Quantum is supposed to be at sea and back to NJ tomorrow and that's what marinetraffic shows.

Explorer of the Seas is still in port. Heading for 45 day drydock. Will not be back at Port Canaveral.

Explorer OTS. I believe she is headed to Spain for Drydock.

It seems my cat eyes left me in the dark.... That'll teach me, watching webcams in the middle of the night when I really should be sleeping...

I am having dinner right now at Rusty's prior to my Enchantment cruise in the morning and it is Explorer! Just went and took some pictures of her a little while ago!

Just saw my first rocket launch at the Cape!

Saw it also. (Cool wasn't it?) It is the third launch I've seen from PC, the other two were actually while I was on the ship. One was on the way out, the other was just after we completed the cruise and had returned back to PC.

And just announced she will be in Alaska 2016. then Pacific Coastal cruises. We were told Australia when on board last month so guess something changed RC's plans.

She'll head ''downunder'' fall 2016 after the Alaska season.

Cheers

Xplorer o.t.s. still in Canaveral as of 2 minutes ago.

Two big cranes are still loading stuff and have been since late morning following disembarkation. When she finally gets going for her long trip to the shipyard, she'll be loaded with stuff !! Being a ''transatlantic'' away from the yard, RCL is making sure as much as possible can and will be done ''in transit''. I suggest there's probably close to 1,000 +/- contractors/trades people on board, already working.

Cheers
