Interesting article, I missed the TV program. :(

I just watched it again. I think it is still playing now on the Smithsonian Channel, take a look. Maybe called Ultimate Cruise Ship. They are also doing a series on cruise ships called Mighty Cruise Ships and Mighty Ships has one including for Queen Mary II and Windstar I think. All currently running.

Yes, that's true. They also had the Soleal and the Azamara Journey is tonight. Gotta love these shows!

The one cruise program that drives me absolutely crazy is "Dream Cruises"! That woman has narrated a lot of cruises and every time, she puts out mis-information. No wonder newbies think their inside cabin will be the size of a suite and think that the top decks are where the "best cabins are".

Her mispronunciation of words is the WORST. Yesterday, she said, "Welcome to St. Thomas. We are in Charlotte "Ama-lee". Oh brother. With all the free cruises she's getting and the free publicity for the cruise lines, you'd think she'd bother to learn how to pronounce words. The worst was the Schooner Bar. Guess how she pronounced that one? Not "skooner" but "SCH - ooner".

Yes! But so many words on "Dream Cruises" are obviously out of pure ignorance. There's no excuse for a travel producer to mispronounce the places she's telling millions of people about who are hungry for correct information.

We get the "Mighty Cruise Ships" series on The Smithsonian Channel. The other show is on AWE - A Wealth of Entertainment - which has quite a few good travel shows.
