Hello I am hoping someone can answer this question.  I checked my Royal Offers and I have a May 2019 offer.  But.. the offer type says Varible.  I have never seen that its usually a room type.  Has anyone ever had Varible and what does it mean? My trade in value is $2250.  Thank you in advance

Interesting, I got the same offer except my trade in value is only $1000. Wonder if the list of cruises is the same as yours.

I just called Casino Royale and got the list of sailings from them. It's quite a huge list of eligible sailing from June thru December 2019. The staterooms for me ($1000 trade in value), range from Junior Suite on 3 to 5 night sailing on older ships to OV rooms on Oasis Class sailings and Alaska initinerary. Im guessing your $2250 TV will be all Junior Suite or higher rooms for all sailings.

Thanks,  They never have anything on Anthem.

Yea no Anthem on this one, but on another offer I got last month, there were both Anthem and Ovation sailings on there. I booked Ovation Alaska in September. So they do exist, keep checking on future offers.

This is my second year as Signature.  I have yet to get the monthly offers, and just recently started getting better offers than $250 off. I just got the Summer Sizzle Balcony offer.  When I call about the monthly offers I keep getting the same response. "I have no idea why your not getting them, you should be.  I'll send an inquiry to find out why."  Does anyone have an email address for Casino Royale?

Are you a US resident? There’s some anti spamming laws that prohibit them from sending emails. That was my issue as I’m Canadian. I just had to provide a US mailing address. Then they need to make sure you opt in for emails.

I called and the offer doesn't work for the date I want.  It covered Jr Suites and Grand Suites but on the smaller ships and I was looking at the Oasis.

Hmmm that's odd, I'm only a Prime. Got about 5k points last year. Been getting so many offers I booked 3 and rejected the rest.

Kind of the same boat here. I get few offers. Sometimes I just call in to Casino Royale, and someone offers us something. Prime each year they had it. The wife too. Some trips 3000 - 5000 points played.

A month back I asked the rep again "where are my offers ? You should be getting them."

Then found out the offer emails were being sent to travel agent that booked my 2017 cruise. I didn't use that TA in 2018.

Maybe some TA is getting your comps ?

Just back from Liberty of Seas. Was just on her in January. I like old slots. One dollar, 5 dollar, even quarters with the reels. Now none to be found. Even the one cent 9 reel machines are gone. Took out the wonder 4's while we were aboard. All are video type with plenty of lights, sound, and action.

The Video Poker are still the same. Won some money on those.

I questioned the email and contact they had on the account and it's all my info. I have a list of comps on the Club Royal website, but the offers are only for $250 - $500 off.  Same with the offers I get in the mail. Nothing like the free cruises my friends that are only Prime are getting.

Just by noticing on who's receiving offers and for how much, it seems to me that those that cruise 1-2 times per year and accumulate  3,000 - 5,000 points per cruise are getting better offers than those that are frequent cruisers. I have been consistently getting offers of $750 - $1250 off on my offers. If their strategy is to  entice less frequent cruisers to cruise more.... It's working,  I just booked a cruise for Dec and considering one in Sept 😁.

Hmmm I usually cruise 2 to 3 times per year. 3 times is usually max. What's considered a frequent cruiser?

Edit: Now that I think about it, it might have to do with average amount of play per cruise. I cruised 3 times last year but only 2 of those sailings would count towards prime this year. I racked up over 5000 points on those two cruises. I'm sure that would be different than someone taking 6 or 7 cruises while racking up 5000 to 6000 points total. Of course that still doesn't really fully explain gaylemh being signature and still getting horrible offers, cause at signature (25000+ points). Even 10 cruises would average a hefty 2500 pts earned per cruise on average.

One (seemingly knowledgeable) rep told me after numerous attempts to get my email offers, that it was due to having Comcast as my email provider.  She claimed Comcast’s system will not even accept Casino Royals emails.  So, I changed my email to a gmail account and guess what?  Yep, still no email offers!

Just thinking aloud.  I would put frequently cruisers as 6 plus.  beyond this board In speaking with some on a recent cruise they were receiving smaller offers at similar levels of play as I was. Main difference was they already cruise much more often than I do.

3,000 points does that equal about $3000 in gambling?

3000 points means you wagered about $15000 through the slot machine. No that does not mean you lose $15000 or come close. You could be winning after wagering $15k through the machine. Or you could be down a few hundred,  or a few thousand. That's where luck comes in.

Yes,  I definitely do not spend anywhere near 15,000 theast cruise I actually ended up from my initial investment of about 2,000.

Since you seem to have a grasp on casino point calculations, would you please (if you can), estimate the average and total amounts I bet on my recent cruise?

I attained 4200+ points solely playing blackjack over the course of 4 nights (5 night cruise but casino closed for nearly 36 consecutive hours per Chinese restrictions).

You must have been betting like a whale then. I play BJ at the $25 or $50 tables and I can come close to 1000 points. Slots is where the points are as by jzx1103. I usually rack up 2000 points just playing slots. I usually play $10 - $20 spin. So the coins come and go quickly.
