There will be plenty of parking at that time. No worries! :)

Decks 10 & 11 are best for strolling outside, and there are chairs out there.

Thanks for the info. I'm pretty sure we have shared Lido deck space on a previous cruise. I also noticed in some of your pics, You are enjoying a Carona in the plastic bottle. Were these available for the whole cruise? I always ask for them as soon as I get on the ship. Usually the bartenders tell me they are not available. Carona out of a plastic cup is not so good.

Hope they have them next week.

The Coronas in the plastic bottles were available at all the pool bars all week long. Don't remember if I had a corona at any of the other bars.

Patti and I leave the ship…..

CS0524.jpg

Once through the Cruise Center, Patti and I will part company for a couple of hours, as she has booked an island tour. Now the million dollar question is did we score a cabana? The answer is…..no! I plan to secure a couple of loungers under a palm tree on the beach by the flowrider, and Patti will meet me there after her tour. Patti has taken our Sony camera with her to document her tour, so I have the water camera. We will get back to Patti and her tour later in this segment, meanwhile I took these shots as I walked through Margaritaville…..

Jack's Shack is our favorite place to visit when we are in Grand Turk. Jack and Janet are so friendly. We enjoy just hanging out there and talking with them and other cruisers.

We now switch it back to Patti. This is the island tour she will be taking this morning…..

THE GRAND TURK EXPERIENCE

EXCURSION DETAILS

Discover the highlights of Grand Turk on this guided island drive.

On this excursion, you will:

• Ride past the former United States Air Force Tracking Base and see a replica of Astronaut John Glenn’s Friendship 7 space capsule.

• See several 18th century churches, beautiful Bermudan-style buildings, and salt ponds.

• Possibly see wild horses and donkeys freely roaming the streets. Enjoy a brief stop to see the 150+ year old working lighthouse.

• Visit “The Salt House”, a recreated 17th century saltpan that chronicles the history of the salt and slave industry.

• Taste some local snacks.

• Proceed to the Bohio Resort where you can enjoy the laid back island atmosphere or snorkel, if you wish.

• Return to your ship at the designated time or stay at the beach and return at your leisure in the free shuttle bus.

Note: The shuttle bus departs the beach every 30 minutes. Beach chairs and snorkel gear are available for rent at the beach.

The cost of this excursion is $45.99 per person, and the tour lasts for 1 ½ hours. This is the Grand Turk Experience tour bus…..
