@sdteacher . . .I agree, the anticipation and the final countdown is so much fun. Lilli is doing a great job, I only hope to step into her shoes.

Periscope seems a perfect fit for this type of broadcast. Following you to continue the fun next week after @ILuvCrusing finishes her cruise. We'll be on Allure in November.

Thanks everyone I appreciate all of your comments. Hopefully everyone was able to connect to Periscope, I'm having loads of fun utilizing the tool but it's of no use with out you. So thank you for following me. And thanks to those who answered the questions on CC,

Here's a little Food Porn for you. Hope they come out ok. This is first time I'm using the app to post pics in CC.

My embarkation meal in Windjammer and my first meal in Grande. Both were DELISH.

Today we are in Falmouth. The group has booked a private tour. We are docking at 10:30. We will disembark as soon as the ship has cleared customs.

We ordered room service and will meet up with the group at Sorrentos around 10:00. Then it's off to the Gangway. You never have to remember the deck for the gangway. There is a button you select and it takes you right there.

If you miss the initial live review you can watch the replay up to 24 hours on Periscope. I will also eventually post them on my You Tube channel.

Thanks for rolling with a sister!

Hello Everyone:

Ok' date=' so you have heard about people posting "Live" while cruising, right? It entails posting about your activities etc while you are still on the cruise. Well, now thanks to an APP called Periscope we can really Live Stream anything and everything and for the first time ever I am going to Live Stream my cruise. So come her to see pictures etc but get your app and follow me (iluvcruising) so you can the live up front and person view.

This is my 5th cruise on Oasis and I am very excited about returning. I am traveling with about 30 other folks and we plan to have MAJOR FUN the entire week. My BFF and I are the agents that booked this group and it was billed as "The Celebration of the Century" as many of us are celebrating milestone. Birthdays, Anniversaries and Graduations.

Most have already arrived at our precruise hotel (The Hyatt House) so the FUN has already begun. Tonight we will have a meet and greet and get all the precruise info out. (Transport to cruise ship tomorrow morn, the Entertainment Schedule for the week, etc) People will also get questions answered as many of the cruisers are vets.

Well I gotta run. Need to get some stuff done for the Party tonight. Thanks for rolling with a Sistah! Pray that the internet Gods shine on me so I can get online during the week.

"See" you soon![/quote']

I only caught your last couple of videos but great job nonetheless. I enjoyed it.

Thanks for sharing your week with us! It made my final countdown even more exciting. I can't wait to board this beautiful ship this morning. I will try to carry on with live broadcasts this week on Periscope @ginanocera. I hope it will be as fun for others as your broadcasts were for me this past week. Thank you again.

Thanks much for the livestream.

I also felt sad when you left the Oasis.

Our precruise hotel was the Hyatt House. It has a full size kitchen. A huge shower and is across the street from a plaza with all kinds of stores and restaurants. The hotel has a shuttle service from the airport into the pier. It also offers shuttle service from the pier to the airport. It has a pool and breakfast.ImageUploadedByForums1437942396.826932.jpg.cb35ad5719df3668b5740d5ebf18fdbe.jpg

We shuttled to the airport using the Hyatt House Shuttle service around 10. Embarkation was a breeze! Through Security, Check in for Sea Pass Card, Embarkation picture taken and sitting down waiting to board by 11:15.

This should say hotel has shuttle from the airport to the hotel, hotel to the pier, and also pier to the airport.

Our group rate included shuttle from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the pier. We had to pay extra for the shuttle from the pier to the airport and we chose a taxi instead. The taxi ride from the pier to the airport for four was $20.

Wow, sorry about that!!! Well I don't like the way those pictures come out so tiny when I use my iPhone App so I will repost them but for now check out this post from APDMOM:

Our Favorite spot on the ship:

So, on to our favorite spot on the ship. It is behind the Aqua Theater. You can get there from the Promenade - just exit the door by guest services or by the Champagne Bar and go aft. You can also get there down a set of stairs from the Aqua Theater. There are a few chairs there that can recline, and you can hear the ocean. It is like having your own balcony, aside from the few joggers/walkers that pass behind you from time to time.

You can see the chairs behind the Aqua Theater from this view:

My View: From one of the Wooden recliner chairs... Ah, can someone bring me a Peach Long Island Iced Tea? ;)
