He went on break Jan 24, so he'll be out until mid to late March or so. No word on if he is returning to Freedom, but now that John Blair has been reassigned there, it appears that Casey will be reassigned elsewhere.

Oops, I meant John Perry. There is always the possibility that John Perry is only doing a short-term 2 month fill-in there, and he will be reassigned again if Casey returns to Freedom. But John Perry almost always does 4 month contracts.

 

It's just another thing we have to sort out.

The list you quoted is an old one from the first page of this thread, not the current list.

 

Keith Williams was on Legend Aug 26 through Dec 8, 2015. He will be on Legend again beginning Feb 18, probably for 4 months.

It's too soon to know for sure. Unless something changes, Luke is the regular CD of the ship, so he is likely coming back from his break in mid-to-late April and will be onboard for 4 months. So, unless your cruise is at the very end of August, there is a good chance that Luke will be the CD. It is impossible to predict who will be covering his break towards the end of August.

We will be on the Radiance starting May 27 and I was hoping Steve Davis would still be on board. But the Radiance is due for revitalization in May 2016. The ship arrives in Vancouver on May 1 and the next sailing showing is May 15. So I assume that is the drydock time. It would be logical for that to be the changeover for Cruise Director. But then, corporations often do not take the logical action. Does anyone know if RCL makes CD changes when the ship is being upgraded, or does the CD stay on for the changes and for another cruise or two?

It all depends on where the dry dock fits into the CD's contract.
