What's your favorite part of a cruise?

Not a specific cruise but a general "this is GREAT" moment. Mine is right after boarding but before muster, after getting to know the ship a little, eating lunch on the Lido deck thinking of the fun I'll have for the next few days. I'm at 48 days and counting and ready to burst....

1....Standing out on deck, or on my balcony....feeling the breeze, hearing the wind over the water, breathing in that tangy air. As I take a deep breath and then exhale I know that I am on vacation and my stress level goes way down.

2....Watching either the sun come up to wash the deck slowly with light and color, or watching the sun set as it changes the color of the clouds and the water and then slowly sink into the horizon.

One of my favorite parts is that first night when you get into bed knowing that you have however many days of not having to cook, clean or work. That feeling of you and your loved ones are being taken care of and you can just relax. It's why I love cruising as a vacation.
