Can we make a 10:15 flight out of port of miami to mia airport

That would be pushing it. We've made a 10:45 flight, but all things went well. Ship was cleared early, we walked off, and breezed thru customs/immigration. If you do book it, have a back up plan.

Could you make it? Yes, but only if everything went 100% perfect. Got off the ship first with you taking off your luggage, going through customs first, grabbing the first cab (or whatever transport you have booked), first in line at the airport to check luggage and/or go through security. On a good day, it's a 20 minute trip, with little traffic, to the airport. With the cruise traffic, expect a longer time.

So if all of that went 100% perfect, you might be at the airport between 8:30 and 9:00,m and at your gate soon thereafter.

Is it worth all that stress to you? :)

We had a 9:55 out of Miami on our 2/14 reflection cruise. Self disembarked at 0645, to airport by 0730, and through security by 0830. As others have mentioned, everything must align. You will not make it if you are the first Caribbean sailing after the TA as it takes several hours for the ship to get cleared. On Our 01/16 reflection sailing we booked a 12:15 flight to be safe.

Head over to the Florida departures board. Lots ask that question.

The answer is...you might make it.

I'd advise you have a backup plan if things don't work out for you. When there are delays when clearing the ship with customs and long TSA lines, they most always happen in Miami.

How do you handle worry?;)

Unless there is another flight within 1 hour, I'd try it...it's awful trying to "kill time"! You will need to be in one of the 1st groups off the ship, and then hop in a cab to the airport...dont' use a shuttle!

We always book something before 11am...and usually have a bit of a wait before boarding!
