Ocean view bar/lounge on Epic

We're thinking of booking the Barcelona - Canaries cruise in February. On other ships, I've loved having a cocktail in a bar/lounge looking out to sea. Does the Epic have anything like that - I'm thinking similar to the Commodore Club on Cunard.

Also do they serve canapes in any of the bars? (I do love my food!)

I love the Epic for many reasons, but this isn't one of them.

 

I can't think of any indoor bar where you can look out to sea. It's a common criticism of the ship.

If you don't mind drinking at the buffet, you'll get the same view. Epic's buffet is located forward with panoramic views over the ship's bow. There's a small bar and you can order drinks there.

The Haven lounge/bar looks aft over the ship with a sea view.

thanks everyone, it's not a dealbreaker, just a nice to have. I may just have to pack an extra cozy wrap and find a good spot on deck!

No, seriously.... there is no good spot on deck to look at the sea! BUT if you buy a spa pass you have a grand view from the sauna rooms and there is the aft balcony back there, just cozy up in the provided bathrobes and enjoy the padded loungers out there!!

Spice H2O bar is great, but it is outdoors.

Going with all of my friends above. Epic is a great ship but not for sea views.. or at least your wish of a sea view bar. :)

 

The only bar with (free) (bar)food is O'Sheehans, but again, no sea view, perhaps a lucky glimpse in the distance.

 

Spice H2O has a small buffet with limited opening hours and free a la carte appetizers (which take about at least half an hour if not almost an hour) and/but indeed outdoors.

 

Luckily it's a thing that is fixed on the later ships, Waterfront on BA and GA, and the forward Waterfront restaurant green houses on ES for example.
