Question for Current or Former Scenic Cruisers

Does Scenic offer an onboard booking program whereby if you book a future river cruise on Scenic while onboard your current cruise, you get benefits such as a reduced deposit or onboard credit toward the future cruise? Some, if not all, of the ocean cruise lines have variations of these programs and I am wondering if Scenic offers anything?

Thank you in advance for any information!

Viking does, not sure about the others

Uniworld does.

We went on our first Uniworld cruise in August and signed up for another (15 day Grand France) cruise next May while on board. All you do is fill out a form - no money exchanges hands at that time. These are the per person discounts we were offered from Uniworld:

less on board booking - $ 200.00

less past guest - $ 250.00

less early booking - $ 300.00

We also had a $1000 per person credit for enduring a ship swap (which was hardly any hardship) due to low water levels on the Danube and then our TA gave us a discount. It all made an extremely expensive cruise just merely expensive! :D

AMA does too:

5% discount for buying a Future Cruise Benefit onboard

5% early-booking discount [available to anybody]

$100 per person discount starting with the second cruise

plus free airport transfers and 50% discount one-category upgrade starting with the third cruise – increasing to free one-category upgrade starting with the fourth cruise

But none of that would mean anything to me if the product wasn’t also great. Thankfully it is.

Thank you everyone for the replies! We are going on our first river cruise next month and I suspect we will love it and want to book another.

Scenic has a past passenger discount - but you don't have to book on-board to get it.

We aren't brand loyal - so haven't taken advantage of any on-board offers. We never know who we will travel with next (heading out on # 10 in a few weeks - and # 11 booked with Emerald, so a new company for us....).
