Solo cruiser bringing wine onboard?

I had thought that the rule was 2 bottles per stateroom but I see in my docs that it's written as 1 bottle per person. As a solo cruiser can I bring in 2 bottles or just 1?

You can bring on more if you want, but it will be subject to the corkage fee.

Since a solo cruiser is automatically paying more in fare, you wouldn't think a second measly bottle of wine would break the HAL bank. :eek:

When I've cruised solo it has been one bottle without paying corkage. You can bring more than one bottle, but you will have to pay corkage for the additional bottles.

The "Noah's Ark" mentality causes people to phrase it as "2 bottles per stateroom", but that is simply wrong, wrong, wrong. If there are 3 or 4 adults sharing a cabin, then there are 3 or 4 bottles allowed without corkage charge for that cabin. If it is one person in a cabin, even when that person pays double, it is still one bottle allowed.
