Wren3 Posted October 5, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 5, 2015 As I am learning so much on CC regarding my upcoming cruise on the Riviera, I thought I would inquire about cruise line photographers and whether we will encounter them on the Riviera. Thanks.
Cruseforme Posted October 5, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 5, 2015 One of the wonderful things on all O ships is that there are no cruise line photographers at all. However, there are many photo ops that you can take advantage of with your shipmates! Enjoy your cruise!
Wren3 Posted October 5, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted October 5, 2015 Thank you Cruseforme ~ glad to know there won't be cruise line photographers on board. Looking forward very much to our cruise.

Rare LHT28 Posted October 5, 2015 #5 Share Posted October 5, 2015 (edited) There are photographers well more of a videographer .... not in your face type They do videos of certain things on the ships like the shows & around the ship but you barely notice them You may spot yourself in the background if they are filming in the area you are in None of this getting a photo every time you leave the ship Edited October 5, 2015 by LHT28

ChatKat in Ca. Posted October 5, 2015 #11 Share Posted October 5, 2015 Some of the other lines have put in Portrait Studios. There is no charge for the consult/session. But there is hard sell at the end and print packages run $750+

Hawaiidan Posted October 5, 2015 #13 Share Posted October 5, 2015 What formal nights? no photos---no formal nights--no artsale...no nickel dime... no extra charge dining... no soda cards... no fix seat dining... no 2 sittings for dinner... no lines.. no kids programs... no pool games and look stupid contests...no class system. Its always fun to welcome passengers sailing on Oceania for the first time who have sailed on the"other" lines and having become accustomed to the supposed norm of their idea of luxury, quality and class. The sudden absence of all that is a little scary at first... but watching them discover that there is another way... and the quality and luxury bill of goods they were sold was serious mistake.
