shilo5 Posted October 12, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 12, 2015 Hello, I am wondering if the Princess transfer motor coach from the Houston airport or Marriott Airport Hotel have a washroom onboard as it's a 50 mile commute to the Bayport cruise port. Has anyone taken it and have an answer? Thank you.
caribill Posted October 12, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 12, 2015 I do not know the answer, but as Princess contracts with a transportation company for these trips, the answer may be different for different buses that are utilized.
Colo Cruiser Posted October 12, 2015 #3 Share Posted October 12, 2015 We had one but it was out of order. Its not that bad of a trip.
wineforhealth Posted October 12, 2015 #4 Share Posted October 12, 2015 I'm thinking it had one when I took the bus, but as said the trip seemed like it didn't take long to get from the airport to the ship.

nukesubsailor Posted October 13, 2015 #8 Share Posted October 13, 2015 During an 8-day Alaskan land tour, the Princess tour escort explained that if the vehicle has a restroom, it is called a "motor coach". If not, it is called a "bus". On the highway between lodges we were in a motor coach. For our tour of Denali Park we were on a bus. I would think the definitions mean more to the companies chartering the vehicles than they do to the passengers. Everyone on the tour continued to call our vehicle "the bus". Pam in CA Posted October 13, 2015 #10 Share Posted October 13, 2015 We had a bathroom on our first bus. As we were leaving the airport, the axle broke. Horrible noise. Thank God we weren't on the highway. They brought a second bus which didn't have a bathroom. So, it depends on the bus.
san diego sue Posted October 13, 2015 #11 Share Posted October 13, 2015 As I always told my kids and now grandkids, go before we get in the car. However, many times we had to stop for those"emergencies". And I have been known to use the restroom in a moving bus on occasion . Now that is not very pleasant. metairiegal Posted October 14, 2015 #12 Share Posted October 14, 2015 50 miles? Sounds like about an hour drive. That's a long time, if you really need one. OP, thanks for asking the question. I always wonder about it, too.

Try using the Ladies room on a moving overnight train and having the driver suddenly slam the brakes on! Learnt later, a car across the track ahead of us-he JUST managed to stop short of the vehicle! Judging from the swearing, the guy in the Gents had a fall with the sudden stop-at least I was gripping a handrail and never fell.
