Just off Brilliance X-mas cruise

On Brilliance right now- D+. We had planned to each use our 2 days of free internet but it turned out that the package for one device was $80 so it was all free. I have it on my laptop and my husband has it on his phone. May be a distraction though- do we really need it all the time?

 

Slow when everyone is onboard- Ok other times.

Did you notice if they were offering any of the "beverage card" type package {10 drinks for x amount) later in the cruise?

I have been reading about new, hard mattresses and wonder what you thought of yours. I like a firm mattress with a soft top, due to back and neck conditions. We will be on BOS the end of January. A mattress like a board will be a concern.

Karen do you know if they still offer a priority self assist disembarkation? When we were on last April they offered it (I think for Platinum and above). Everyone met in the dining room.

Interesting. Now I know what they were selling the packages in the cruise terminal, before we got on the ship.

 

Safety Tip: If you want to avoid all the upsell booze hawkers when you board, don't follow the herd towards the centrum. Turn right and head for the forward elevators instead. No one ever uses them :D

Just off on 7 Jan. Priority self assist was offered to all. Escorted priority was given to platinum and above with meet up in Minstrel Dining Room. The over zealous Loyalty Ambassador made sure that only certain tiers entered the dining room. Suites and Pinnacle were escorted by Concierge. By the way, Priority self assist was called at 7:30 am. We were escorted off about 10 minutes later.

Thanks for review, cannot wait for our 12 day cruise in September, hope none of my favorites were eliminated from bar. Was chops used for lunch by gold cards?? We have a aft GS .

Found it slow on deck, but great in the cabin. Not sure if this is fleet wide, but our cabin had it's own Wi-Fi node mounted on the wall just to the right of the bathroom door.
