Bo1953 Posted January 6, 2016 #26 Share Posted January 6, 2016 Here we are on the Celebrity board discussing their latest and greatest offer . The comments from loyalists are nothing but dismissive . What does that say ? Two things , first that we no longer have any faith or trust in the suits in Miami (as opposed to the on board staff). Secondly these corporate types do not care what we think , as is their right . And we have the right to believe nothing they have to say . They may change or alter amenities after booking whenever they wish and they do ! Sorry for being so negative but they started it .:D Now, now RS, you know what the fine print says... 'subject to... etc..' :) bon voyage
Burpelson Posted January 6, 2016 #27 Share Posted January 6, 2016 If one gets free gratuities and a free drinks package, are the gratuities for the drinks also included? TIA!
CHEZMARYLOU Posted January 6, 2016 #28 Share Posted January 6, 2016 Free beverage packages include the gratuities, even if you do not select free gratuities as a perk.
akowilm Posted January 6, 2016 #29 Share Posted January 6, 2016 (edited) I just called and changed an existing reservation to the Go Better, gained $300 and the beverage package, and my price went up $2.58..... Even the Celebrity reservation specialist got a chuckle out of that one! That's a win-win!! Jade13 Posted January 6, 2016 #30 Share Posted January 6, 2016 (edited) I received the brochure with the Sale. I called but it is only for cruises through April 2017. Edited January 6, 2016 by Jade13
Rare ghstudio Posted January 6, 2016 #31 Share Posted January 6, 2016 If one gets free gratuities and a free drinks package, are the gratuities for the drinks also included? TIA! for accuracy...the "free" gratuities cover the "recommended" gratuities that are distributed among your cabin and dining room staff. The "free" drink package includes gratuities on the drinks covered by the package. If you order a drink that incurs a charge (more than the classic limit) or order a bottle of wine at dinner, a gratuity will still be added to those, even if you have both the drink and free gratuity offers. karena1 Posted January 6, 2016 #32 Share Posted January 6, 2016 Yeah I called yesterday. The price has gone up significantly on our April 17 cruise and we already have the bev pkg as part of the Spring promo. So it would cost us way more to get the 2nd perk. So will stay as we are for now.
glamer57 Posted February 5, 2016 #33 Share Posted February 5, 2016 I saw this and what attracted me is where it said $25 to book. Is this actually true? Is it select bookings only because the one I was looking at just gave me a $50 obc.
littlelulu01 Posted February 5, 2016 #34 Share Posted February 5, 2016 My med sailing price had not increased and ta was able to add an additional $300 obc today. This is my first celebrity booking and I'm thrilled. All four perks, a sky suite and hefty obc for two thousand less than lowest category balcony on NCL Jade same dates. if you factor in $600 obc, premium drink, unlimited internet, daily service charge it's even a bigger savings not to mention Jade is a 184 sq ft basic balcony room vs 300 sq ft suite on Silhouette with suite perks. From what I've seen and read, the Silhouette is a beautiful ship. NCL service charge just on the "free" beverage package was $347 for two on 14 night sailing. Unlike the included premium beverage package on Celebrity, NCL package does not include waters, cans of soda, speciality coffees, juices.
dutchclogs Posted February 5, 2016 #35 Share Posted February 5, 2016 The 5 day extra sale now running is well worth checking for anyone just booked. Be aware though that, as ever, it cannot be combined with other offers... in my case I would be $50 worse off:o
Kate333 Posted February 5, 2016 #36 Share Posted February 5, 2016 And as per usual, for all offers, drinks packages etc transatlantic cruises are excluded !!!
