A bit of info for Majestic cruisers.

It's hard to believe that exactly four years ago today Royal Princess was making final preparations to depart the following morning on her very first sea trials. Now here we are just days away from Majestic Princess making her Maiden Voyage. How far we have all come. Looking forward to the next Royal-class, and the next one, and the next, and the next....

 

 

DMWMC ... The cruise from Trieste is not the Maiden voyage according to Princess who say it is a shake down cruise, the official Maiden cruise is from April 4th to the 9th!

The Big Day.

Thursday March 30th - Monfalcone

 

8-30 am - Official Embarkation of Media and Gusts.

9.00 am - Signing ceremony (Off Ship)

11.00 am - Delivery/Official Handover ceremony (Princess Theatre)

11.30 am - Change of Flag - Bermuda to MCA

12.30 - 1.15 pm Reception in the Atrium

1.15 - 3.00 pm Lunch - Concerto and Symphony Dining rooms

3.00 pm - China Media guided tour with Mandarin Safety Drill

4.30 pm - Depart Monfalcone

5.00 pm - China Media sail away - Deck 7 Balcony

5.30 pm - Musical performance in the Piazza

7.00 pm - Arrival in Trieste

8.00 pm - 10.15 pm Musical performance in the Piazza.

I'd LOVE to cruise Majestic Princess. She looks amazing. But while you're cruising I'll still be here, landlocked in and around "almost heaven". Several roads trips and a half-dozen Broadway National Tour shows coming up for me.

 

I'm still shooting towards September for my next cruise with Princess in 172 days, but there's a significant likelyhood I'll be moving back to NC in July.

I hope someone posts photos of the areas that are different from the Regal and Royal. Wish I was sailing on the Majestic!

We are sailing on the April 9th departure. Could you possibly enlarge the lower right area of the front page showing the ship contact number info? I have a family member who is facing a medical issue that may require someone to contact me should we not cancel and continue with our planned trip and this info might come in handy. I can't make out the numbers in these photos. Thanks.

If you download the picture into photo software then you can enlarge. Very easy if you have iPhone.
